What's up with people asking the same question twice?

    I'd be lining up
    Green
    Zab, Terry, Hutton
    Haz, Sanchez, Downing, Silva
    Costa, Austin, Bony
    Bench. Dummet, Eriksen, Duff

    A) bank it and line out as above.
    B) Eriksen to Sterling and bench Bony, Kane for Bony next week.
    C) Bony to Jovetic

    Any thoughts.....

I'm leaning towards option B now purely as it will be the start of my move to change my Spurs attacker to Kane to free up a midfield slot as there are better options there at present - Sterling for now, Siggy, ADM thereafter possibly. And it will also result in my having cash to upgrade Austin to a 10.6 forward if I want to, Falcao if he gets going for Uniteds Jan fixtures perhaps.

I've left Azpi in and now feel a bit worried. Not sure about Yaya out for Sterling but we will see soon.

    Logging off, too.

    Happy New Year everyone.

I hope there will be shiny new GW thread when I wake up tomorrow "morning".

Would love if it was up now. Need someone to pick my defenders for me, lol :)

    Moreno or Manquilo?

Moreno. Liverpool team has been leaked again and Mauquillo is not in it.

K toure for duff, fairly content with it. Taught about sterling, but il hang on a bit till he hits some proper form.

Are the Falcao owners giving him one last chance or are they getting rid?

I'm not sure. FFS have him down to start alright. Thought I saw in another thread that he looked wrecked tired the last day vs Spurs...

Bony Benteke and Austin up front
    Anyone think it's too weak?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

Falcao to Jovetic and Siggy to Sterling for a -4. Yaya having one last run before I get Silva in next game week.

Anyone think Bony to Jovetic is worth it? Or should I just keep my transfer?
Had kinda decided last night I was going to leave it but thinking about doing it again now

Jovetic didn't look worth it last week. Then again neither did Bony.

Eriksen to Sterling or Yun to Hutton? Both for -4?

The first one is a direct swap. The second one is to avoid playing either Naylor or Wisdom. Have Wisdom on at the moment.

Wouldnt take a hit for a defender personally. Sterling legit pick for today as well as longer term.

Even with Zab probable rest today which would have me field both Wisdom & Naylor?

Taking a hit for def means they HAVE to keep clean sheet for it to be break even or marginally profitable. Bringing Zab in with his rotation concerns was a gamble that I would just have to go with today if I was you.

I'm starting to worry that I should have bought Sterling instead of Lallana. My thinking was just '**** it', because my thought out transfers of the last three weeks have been a disaster, so why not take a punt?

If Sterling does well and Lallana does crap, I'm gonna be cringing. :pac:

I can do it without a hit though and forget about Sterling (and keep Eriksen)... Aaaah such torture on the first day of the New Year :pac:...

Taking a gamble by having no pool players

    Went Azpil to Demicelis

Almost took a -4 to bring in henderson for siggy

Bought Coutinho, I'm panicked, first real gamble of the season for me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

    Panic station  :pac:.

Brought Sterling for Eriksen and changed captaincy from Austin to Silva (got afraid of FFS poll) at 11:30...

I have this strangely bad feeling I shouldn't have awoken up this morning though :o...

I've gone for Podolski.. it could be a fantasy piece of genuis or unparalled disaster.
