It's a Bethesda game so best to get it on PC. Being Bethesda it will inevitably launch as a buggy piece of **** so it's always nice to havethe console there to input a no clip code when you get stuck in scenery or trigger an event trigger that never triggered leading to a game breaking bug :)

Don't think they've said how many Xbox Ones they've sold yet.

Wii U is currently at over 10 million which is pretty good for something everyone says is complete failure. (Still that's only 1/3 the sales of the N64)

Yeah, all those characters are over a decade old at least. Except for that car, whatever it is

Cars have been going since 1886, so well over a century old.

They keep lumping 360 and One sales on top of each other. People think that 360 sales are negligible but you'd be surprised how much those old consoles sell well into another generation.

Xbone is at around 13million since last week as far as I know, 25million for ps4. 10.1million WiiU's is p1ss poor tbh. Especially since it had a full extra year on the market than the other 2.

Still the WiiU is the best system this gen with the best games out of all of them.

It's amazing the difference between a launch game and a game released in the final years of a console. I think it's only then that developers know exactly what they can squeeze out of it, take Twilight Princess on GC as an example.

I know I might have caused a lot of panic yesterday and I'm sorrym it seems there was no need to panic. Looks like the Gal Gun sequel is getting a worldwide release.

Oh interesting, seems Gaijinworks are bringing out Class of Heroes 3 and Summon Night 5 to PSP as UMD physical releases. You have until near the end of August to pre purchase, they are bound to become collectibles.

    PSP Go owner riots...
Reports are he has kicked over a bin in protest, he later apologised and put it back, but remained upset....

Seems about the same ammount of time master chief has been knocking around.

Wasnt he supposed to finish the fight at the beginning of the last console generation?

The GBA summon night games were great. The mainline games are a completely different genre but if the tone and setting are similar I'll be looking forward to it.

Anyone head to Comic Con in the CCD today? It was great craic, helped by the weather being so nice.

Jay Hunter, from here, and his boys are gonna do an OSW panel there tomorrow...shame that I won't be there.

I went today afternoon, missed most of the stuff/events, but there were some people around still. It was pretty good.

I only made it to one panel, was behind my indie comic stand for most of the day. I was at the 2013 and 2014 DCCs, and a few smaller ones here before that, but this was my first time as an Exhibitor. Different experience but still great craic (",)

I'll probably go to the other one at the end of the month at the RDS, sadly I will not be dressing up but have plans to live vicariously through my son as he goes as a hunter from Bloodborne, a game he won't be able to play for another 6 years.....

    Kurt Russell, cool :)
Sam Jackson, just tired of him being in everything :0/

I think we need maybe 2-3 years of no Sam Jackson movies.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,999 ✭✭✭Nerdkiller1991

Also, has the IFI said anything about carrying The Hateful Eight in 70mm? I checked their website and haven't seen anything really regarding that.

The film is still more than four months away from release, of course they don't have any info on their website yet. Going by the last two major 70mm releases, they're unlikely to have it at release anyway, and will either get it a few months later or promise to show it and then never do so.

Also, can't say I've noticed a particular excess of Sam Jackson. Tarantino films are really some of the only worthwhile films he appears in these days anyway.

Well, given all the hype surrounding this being a 70mm production and how Tarantino is trying to make this the most widespread 70mm release yet, you'd better hope that such a feature would be day and date with either the US 70mm release (Christmas day), or at least the general UK/IRL date.

One would hope the staff of the IFI would get that particular day off like almost every other person in this country.

Black Snake Moan and Die Hard with a Vengence on the Sky movie channels right now. :pac:
