I just buy the 36mg from Vabebase,but Bargainvapour do 70mg, (72mg is the highest for legal sale in Ireland).

The cost of their VG/PG is €20 a litre though so that's why I wait until there is a 10-15% discount on the Vapebase FB page then order in bulk.

No prob,they had a 15% one for the New Year but I missed it but they should have another one coming up shortly.
Just like their FB page and you will see it on your newsfeed when they post it.

Just be careful when buying nicotine, 6% would be 60mg, 6mg is 0.6%.

You can buy some very concentrated nic that needs to be diluted a lot.

Put in 6mg,there is a massive difference between 6mg and 6% as EGriff has pointed out :P

I am still confused

So i have my bottle of 6% base and my RA concentrate.

How much concentrate to RA do i use to make a 30ml bottle using 20% of RA, getting as close to the 6% nic strength

25ml of base and 5 ml of concentrate will be close enough,give you 5mg of nic so you won't notice the difference

Do you need the RA at 20%? I find 15% plenty.

A very easy way to calculate flavour is

10% = 1ml per 10ml of juice so 1ml flav + 9ml base is 10ml of juice

15% = 1.5ml per 10ml so 1.5 + 8.5

20% = 2ml per 10ml 2 + 8

Does this look right? Roughly 24ml base and 6mg RA (like you say) will give 4% nic output (any higher input gives negative figures)

A big rookie mistake buying a litre with only 6% nic

I wonder could i add some PG based 54% strength nic to the equation to bring the nic back up to 6%?

24 + 6 is spot on,
25 + 5 will give you slightly higher nic.

you can add nic to the 6mg base.
I think thebestshop does 100ml bottles of 100mg for about €25 ..... 2ml of 100mg nic per 100ml of your 6mg base would give you 100ml of 8mg.
This would then be 6mg juice with 20% flavour added.

but off the top of my head about 3.5ml of the 54mg to 100mg of 6mg base should get you close enough.we're dealing with low nicotine levels here so being a fraction out won't matter.

So 1.15 ml of 54mg into your 30ml bottle.

Also, my Red Astaire came today so will will have a vape of that today. I think someone said its like cherry Tunes? I dont know Tunes but it does smell really like Red Halls Soothers. Very interesting...

Also also, the ESI website never said what size the bottle was for a layout of 12.95. I assumed 20ml so very happy to get 30ml for that! Must be cheaper than elsewhere? Bottle of that and a bottle of Cl. Custard

It's a weird juice,some people get Strawberry, some Blackberry but it is tasty.I wasn't gone on it the first time I tried but love it now.
If you like it you'll probably like Black & Blue as well.
€12.95 seems to be the standard price with the Irish vendors but I think it cost the same in £ so we get a better deal here but DIY is definitely the way to go.

Yeah... the Red Astaire is really nice. It has a hint of clove almost with the combination of berry/ aniseed/ menthol.

It reminds me a lot of Gins Addiction too, which isnt really a surprise given Halcyon Haze is effectively T-Juice. Really similar, just maybe that berry effect rather than the tonic/ lemon side. Both deliver a really nice throat hit/ lung hit with the menthol/ aniseed.

I've got some vapebase on the way from Germany and I've just bought some RA and Colonel Custard concentrates, how long should I let them steep for in a 50/50 VG/PG? Thanks.

I find the RA is good to go after a good shaking, the CC i usually leave for a few weeks.

Oh that's great news, thanks. I only got 10ml because I've never tried it before. They didn't have 10ml of TY4 so i didnt buy it. Tobaccos are my usual ADV so I'm taking a bit of a chance because I only have about 50mls of liquid left in the house and the vapebase probably won't be here until Friday or even later, I really I can make the RA and ADV and sort out some RY4 or something for when I'm on the beer.

I'll decant 70ml of base and throw the 10ml on, should be 10.2 for 15% but I'm guessing that won't make a big difference. I can't wait, I wish I'd shopped around Ireland to get it all tomorrow but the vapebase was so much better value than the nicotine etc from EZSmoke that I couldn't justify it.

Really didn't like colonel custard. Very bland. Left to steep for over a month and no change.
