You're right about the gender though, but I'm not quite sure how it's relevant. The article isn't suggesting that GAY men are more likely to molest children. They're saying paedophiles are going to PRETEND to be gay, get married, and adopt children.

The majority of molestations happen to people the abuser knows. And that's probably just out of necessity, it would be really hard for someone to get physical access to a stranger's child.

But what does that have to do with the fact that paedophiles can gain access to children much easier through marriage to a woman? In the vast majority of cases, the child is abused without the knowledge of the other parent.
