Transfers via concerns seem to be immune form the weeks grace period. Makes sense, as it would have happened anyway.

Did it a few times in the past ... might dig out the discs I have an have a go.

You can just download the game there and not bother update the squads, though I doubt 01/02 would be enough to go go back to the glory days of Newcastle. In fact, on that point, I don't even think they had computers that far back let alone Championship Manager! :P :pac:
