Sounds like we have a while to wait...

Seems to be a technical issue now with a valve. Hopefully it wont put off the launch today. Oh Well.

And they just said "the team is looking at a troubleshooting plan" on the radio, not looking good...

Either the valve isnt seating correctly or the sensor is faulty. Either way its a no-go until thats fixed. If it werent so risky to go near a fuelled rocket i'd be over there giving the valve a belt of a hammer and maybe jiggle the sensor!!
No, a career in nasa would not be for me!

If the cycling of the valves work they will launch today according to the NASA announcer so we'll know in the next 30 minutes anyway...

Wow, really going down to the wire...

Yeah they sound like they really want to go for it:
Latest from the radio: if they try launching again technicians will turn off the automatic wind speed monitors which caused a couple of delays and monitor the wind manually. In layperson’s language, in sounds like they’re going to try and bodge it.

How come they only have certain launch windows. Can't they lash the thing into space anytime of the day.

I suspect that need to make sure that they recover the craft on re-entry. Wont do any good if it comes down in Russia or over Syria.

Possibly a reason in this case is that they may want a daytime launch and a daytime recovery for this first flight. A 4.5 hour duration flight plus a bit of leeway mean they only have a limited window in which to launch.

Commentary for today's launch begins in 5 minutes (11am our time).
The weather forecast for today calls for a 40 percent chance of acceptable conditions during the launch window which opens at 7:05 a.m. EST and closes at 9:44 a.m.

    That's a launch windows of 12pm - 2:44pm our time :)
