Might change berhino to Kane but I would be benching either of them anyway so better to carry one over. more doing it to free up money and rid any bandwagon on kane

Should have done it yesterday. Missed the price rise. Bringing in henderson instead.

    Probably Chadli out. Probably.

Rooney out for someone not sure who yet!

I think it's pretty difficult to pick a midfielder that's value for money outside the obvious contenders (Sanchez, Hazard, Fabregas and Siggy) Outside these, no midfielders really stand out atm. Yes Eriksen has been looking good lately, but he is pretty expensive and is not consistent enough for his returns.

I think Downing or Mirallas is worth considering atm especially in the middle range price bracket and it gives people the opportunity to improve the team elsewhere, especially those who have been struggling to get in Costsa and Aguero into their team.

After downgrading Chadli( pricewise) to Downing, I now have more money to spend for a second gk(currently 4.0 and an non-startER) and the fifth midfielder, who seems to be constantly injured(Gibson). As some have mentioned before, it's paramoun to be able to fully utilize your bench during the festive period. Will be interesting to see how Mirallas performs tonight.

For people considering hutton, hes on at least 3 yellows, possibly 4, hes picked up 3 in the league anyway. It could be worth paying the extra .3 for cissokho who has only 1 yellow in the league. He also got 3 bonus last night and is a bit of tank, could possibly last the christmas schedule without a rest.

Sanchez definitely isn't value for money any more at 11m or whatever it is. Downing & Siggy are superb value Chadli was but looks like his ship has sailed! Eriksen is an interesting one considering him myself could definitely be good value given their fixtures. Tadic is still very good value in the medium term he'll definitely be back for me during the Jan WC. If Liverpool can find some form Sterling at 8.4 will definitely come back on to the radar.

No injuries, it's: Gibbs Mertesacker Koscielny Debuchy. Monreal gets the odd match or two

Mirallas or Eriksen the better option to replace Cesc?

What would you do here lads?

Baines and Chadli out, £13.8m to replace both.

Well despite being 1-1, Mirallas was taken off in the Everton game - so there has to be a rotation risk. Eriksen is hot and cold - very frustrating play to have in your team

    Baines to Azpil done.

Anyone have suggestions who to replace Ayoze Perez with? I have 4m to work with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,762 ✭✭✭jive

0.1 away from fitting in azpi, seriously annoying that he rose 0.1 last night!!

Best defender under 5.3 to get me to January?

Currently have Baines, Chambers, Alderweld (injured), Naylor (suspended) and Moore (dropped).

    Probably looking to replace Alderweld.

Considering reversing my late call on Azpi over Baines. Better to rectify it quickly rather than stew.

Another one here for Baines to Azpi. Had been planning on getting Terry in but Azpi's performance tonight has convinced me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,238 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Ah well Azpi was a good differential while it lasted :)

I'm thinking Duff out for Azp. Would leave me with 0.4m in the Bank. Still cant bring myself to sell Bertrand...

I'm just going to go with the flow here and get Azpil instead of Terry.

It'll be for Robertson though. Baines gets another week simply because I need to be able to field 3 defenders next week.

Following week it'll be Baines to someone, possibly Chambers

Terry's only .2 more than Azpi.

He's usually good for a few goals every season (3,6,4,3 in the last 4 seasons). None so far this season. He's surely due at least one.

Aspi has scored 2 in 250 senior appearances, never for Chelsea.

0 BP this season for Terry v (probably) 9 now for Azpi.

I do agree a Chelsea defender looks required.

Debuchy will be back in a week or two just to warn you. Whether or not he'll reclaim his place then is another question but it's worth being aware of.

    Aguero captain

Same. Went with Hazard this week and Sanchez last week. Not a huge disaster in terms of points difference but it could have been a lot worse and I've learnt my lesson!

Jagielka out for Terry most likely.

It should only say Aguero anyway! Much like last season with Suarez.

Currently have Wilson, Fab and Berahino - looking at doing one of the following.

    Wilson Hazard and Kane or
    Azpil Fab and Kane

If Baines has a broken nose, would this rule him out of any games - if he's out i may just do Baines to Azpil.

Thanks, I forgot about that. Might make the transfer anyway, so many of my rivals have chambers and its costing me ground.

crazy as it sounds, i'm gonna leave Aguero alone for the moment. realistically for this GW i cant do it without taking a -8, and even then i'd be taking out some players that i'm not really sure i want to take out(!). City's fixture list doesn't ease up - another 3 games in the next 10 days including the trip to Roma - i'm just going to pray Sergio takes it easy for the next couple of gameweeks and then probably try to squeeze him in for GW17, with Silva as sidekick. GW15 looks decent for me on paper, at least.

    squad is as follows:

    Guzan Gilks
    Baines Azpi Chambers Isla Dummett
    Eriksen Siggy Sterling Sanchez Hazard
    Benteke Austin Costa

    0 in the bank

City play pretty much the 6 worse teams defensively (bar QPR) in the league in their next 7 games. His price will probably shoot up .3/.4 by GW17.

Take costa out and downgrade Baines and you can get Aguero.

    Austin in.

    Bye bye until Saturday.

Time to overload on City! They will steamroll their next 6 victims.

Demichelis - With Kompany's injury & Mangala's poor form he could well play the next 6 league games.

Zab / Clichy -Will be suspect to rotation (how many will they play)

Kolarov - Won't play all 6 but could be applied left wing, good for goal & assists when does play

Jovetic - goal & assist tonight! Poor oppositions coming up.. last year 2 City forwards were scoring heavily at same time. Pellegrini loves playing 2 up against
    weaker teams

    anyone any thoughts on this?

Some amount of people taking baines out. Ive always found with him you need to take a long term view with him as in leave him in for 10-12 gws to give him a chance. He cant be scoring or assisting every week and that purple patch was never going to last but he will get double digit scores again soon.
Im glad I took a risk and went with terry over baines 3 weeks ago as I felt at the time Id missed the boat with baines massive point hauls.
