Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ha. I was going to wait until payday to top up my donation, but I'll make sambos for work this week. Worth it to get a Beasty Bonus.

So a bit of totting up :)

I count a total of €2788.50 pledged/donated in this thread (not including people who didn't include the amount in their post, and that's fine :))

    and

Beasty has a total of 242 thanks in the thread so far :D

    and

Ficheall has pledged 10% of Beasty's donation, which I make at €900 + 242 thanks = €1,142 which means another €114.2 (to be precise).

So that brings us to a total of €3,144.70 so far :D

    Great going guys :)

Ok things have slowed up a bit so to try make it a bit more exciting, I'm throwing myself at the mercy of After Hours.

In a time honoured tradition, the highest donation in the next 36 hours (We'll say the cutoff is 12 noon Saturday) gets to choose my Username, as well as my my avatar and tagline if they please. I'll keep whatever they choose until the 1st of February 2015. (Nothing offensive allowed)

    So get donating!

    And be gentle

My daughter was born in July this year. It's given me an awful lot of perspective on the work these amazing charities do, so I'd like to make up for not contributing as much as I should have in years gone by.

    I'll match whatever Beasty donates + €1.

I love when this thread pops up. Its become a little Christmas tradition for me. Can only do €20 for now as my situation has changed from last year. That could change on Monday. If so, more €€€ your way.

    For Beasty.

    Transaction number: 3N912403AC526400H.

Nothing changed that Monday but Mr Taxman coughed up what he owed me that week so another €20 in the pot.

OK, this thread has been a bit quiet recently and I've been discussing with my 2 "comrades in arms" livening the place up a bit.

    So here's the deal:
For a period of up to 24 hours from this post I will match 50% of any pledges made in this thread. Jerrica will match that bringing it to 100%, then Ficheall will add 10% of my own pledge, or 5%. At that stage we are at 105% of 3rd party pledges. However I've also agreed to match Ficheall's pledges, and Jerrica has agreed to match my own. That brings us to 115%. It could be a little more complicated, but let's leave it at that.

Just to add a bit more spice this "offer" can be stopped at any time during the 24 hour period - the message is get your pledges in quickly to secure the match!!
