    Yes, its true.

And there's me wondering for years how I wake up thirsty after a dozen pints.

However - I tried quitting but can't, tried reducing but that didn't work, tried just stopping but didn't work too.
I found I sometimes vape more at times.

Anyway, I would like to try electronic cigarettes as I hope they would help quit.
Some people have done this. And others, like me, now like vaping.

    =-=

You'll find some juices make you want to drink, and some don't. I think a higher PG percentage makes you more thirsty? Just keep hydrated, and you'll be fine.

What about those with no apparent sarcasm function?

There can be nothing done for them I fear, nor for those lacking a sense of irony.

Agree completely. I nearly threw my vamo in the bin during the first 2 weeks.

Cant believe someone went back after 4 months. He should have been fine by then. Id say hes well pissed off.
Yeah he was using two egos and had even moved onto fruity flavours.
He went out to a wedding or sdomething with no vapes and ended up smoking again.
I kind of lost my sh1t with him and he was shame faced. Yellow fingered and brown teeth in evidence. Hopefully he'll get back on the horse quickly, but he's been smoking for a few weeks now.

I had a months blip august 2013 after a year vaping and off the fags. When I finally said to myself, "what the hell am I doing?", it was actually piss easy going back to full time vaping. No concurrent vaping or smoking for a few weeks like the original transition. Kicked myself that I'd spent a years ejuice budget on that months worth of fags. Smoking one day and back full time vaping the next day with ne'r a further thought or craving for smokes again going on 16 months since the blip.

I didn't have a smoke since friday now, I love the e cig so far, however I noticed there is liquid leaking from tank into mouth piece, tastes like **** + causes burn to my tongue. I noticed if I keep it upright it happens rarely, I read it's quite common issue on this model I have.

I am thinking of getting another liquid, is there a way to buy another tank and keep them at same time and just switch them around with different tastes?

The battery you have is an ego battery, so any ego threaded clearomiser will fit on it.

The evod and mini/protank 2 use the same coil, or you can buy an aspire clearo such as the K1. The evod2 is also good but uses a different coil

If I want to buy another coil, which ohm resistance do I have to pick?
    This for example: http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/349-universal-bottom-coils-for-kanger-clearomizers.html

1.6 or 1.8 is my favourite - its a personal preference thing. the lower the Ohms the warmer the vape but also the lower requires more power from your battery.

Oh, for some reason I thought it's something to do with actual device itself rather than personal preferences.

any thoughts on the e-cab? I smoke up to ten a day. I often dont smoke for a few days without thinking about it. I dont think I'm addicted to nicotine for some reason, even after ten years smoking as above.

I think maybe I more like inhaling something, so thinking of switching to vaping.

so to that end, thoughts on e-cab and are there nicotine free juices?

I bought two coils, the ones I linked.
From reading around on Internet, it seems it's a simple solution to fix leak - need another rubber seal, so hopefully that helps.

Would you still keep pack of smokes in pocket while using e cig for first few weeks? You know, just in case of some breakdown or so?

I kept a box at home for a month but everyone is different.
I wasn't even giving up the fags when I tried the e-cig.
Over 30 years smoking and now it's been 11 months since I had a cigarette!
Still can't believe I'm off them!
Forget all about them now and the odd time I think of one, it passes after a minute or two!

Btw: Does liquid density affect smoke density?
My vanilla flavour liquid is very dense, looks more like honey/gel and has very dense smoke.
While my cherry liquid is like water and has weak/vague smoke.

    Is that affected?

Look at the pg/vg mix on the bottle.
The higher % VG, the more smoke you get I find.
The higher %PG, the more flavour.

When I used the e-cig, I used 100%vg because the pg gave me a dry cough.

That's an ok setup, however you may want something a bit on par with the today's technology improvements like a nicer tank and a better (prefferably variable voltage as they are Li-Po) battery. e-smokeireland does a neat combo with an eleaf mini box mod and aspire tank. Quality tank, better battery etc. That will set you back €70 or something close to that and it comes with a free sample of great juice (I personally like the Wingnuts range).
If you're ok with waiting, you can get a similar setup from Fasttech - though it may take 15-30 days for delivery (depending on the post option, I would recommend NL post for fastest time).

Something like http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011964/2045800-egrip-1500mah-vw-variable-wattage-rechargeable - that is a box mod and a tank in one
    or
    http://www.fasttech.com/products/3024/10004594/2048402-authentic-innokin-itaste-mvp-2-0-energy-2600mah

I would recommend the e-smokeireland one then the fasttech options for quality reasons.

Also yes, there are 0 nicotine juices, you can usually select the nicotine strength when you make the purchase. I'd recommend buying a sample of 0mg to see if it suits you, if not choose the next lowest - usually 6mg and see if that suits.

    Sorry for bumping old thread.
It's been a year since I've bought kanger evod and been using it up until today, health has improved, cough is gone and I feel completely fine now.

Since old e-cig started to get scuffed, dirty, worn, battery was somewhat not good anymore I switched to new one - Aspire Premium and it feels so much better :D

So just wanted to say thanks for recommendations and suggestions.

Also I got used and started to love mainly Mango and Apple juices.

Love hearing real life examples of the benefits...Congrats :)

The HSE should buy about a million of them off Fasttech and give them out for free. It would save us all about 20 times that over the next 30 years.

Yup - being saying the same thing to anyone that will listen. I also add that there should be no VAT on vape supplies or at least offset from taxes on tobacco.
