surely win away to elche who are bottom, losing last four games
villareal on a five game winning streak beating athletico away also

they might cover the hcap here but I'll take the straight win if I can get it
    2-2

cant believe I lost money on that one

Will be keeping an eye for lineups in the Newcastle game. Newcastle away from home and without a manager have a terrible record in the FA cup winning 2 drawing 2 and losing 6 in last ten in the competition. They've gone out the first round the last few years thanks to the Ameobi brothers launching strikes at the poor unfortunates in row z, although only one of them remains at the club.

Think main bet will possibly be Swansea +1.5 team goals depending lineups and weather. Will let it go in play and back at around 1.7 area. It's 1.5 area pre game.

Newcastle did their annual 'out at the first round' but I never backed it.

    Swansea sailed in anyway.

    Great one for tomorrow

Crystal Palace -3 is 15/2 on betfair.

Chris Kinnear the Dover manager claims he's going to park the Dover ferry to stop Palace and Pardew will go all out for a win on his debut

Looking at doing a few goals bets today City and Chelsea 3+ each I think is achievable it's tempting after seeing the hidings given yesterday ..looking at team news it seems like Jovetic Nasri and Toure will play and for Chelsea drogba Schurrle Oscar Remy should all feature

    I'd like Schurrle 11/8
    Jovetic 10/11

Singles on each anytime and a double on overs covered by both sides at 8/11 and 4/5

Waiting for the teams to be named first

Why are Palace 4/9 away to Dover? Surely they will be up for this game.

    Partick v Dundee Utd
    Dundee Utd 5/4

Taking this bet more down till the team news below from Patrick
Having had our New Year's Day game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch Alan Archibald is looking forward to getting back on the pitch come Sunday's visit by Dundee United. Having said that, as the gaffer told ptfc.co.uk, the situation with injuries hasn't abated any as the squad continues to go through something of an injury crisis.

"Sean Welsh is still injured, Frederic Frans is out, Higginbotham is suspended, McMillan, Carroll and Osman will all be missing and Gary Fraser has phoned in sick today as well so we are really down to the bare bones. The one bit of good news is that Bannigan is back - he trained today for the first time after being floored by an illness. We just need to cross our fingers and hope nobody else drops out.

"It's not just the game that is made difficult, we've only trained with 14 bodies the last couple of days so we can't really run through much on the training pitch either. Not ideal preparation for a big game but we'll just have shuffle things around a bit and get on with it."

There's no doubt that confidence will be high in the United camp, especially off the massive derby win on Thursday.

"It will definitely be a tough game. They'll be flying high after recent results and have real quality front, middle and back so we need to be really wary.Having said that we have had some very close games against them recently and as long as we keep it tight we have every chance.

"We know what we're up against and have played well against them recently, especially at home, so we just need to focus on keeping them quiet. Even with the injuries we have enough quality in the squad to go out and win the game and that's exactly what we'll be looking to do."

Although on a decent run, consistency remains a problem for Archibald's side.

"We need to find a bit of consistency and put together a winning run. We've let ourselves down with a few draws in games we really should have won but we know that and we're working with the players to make sure we make the most of every opportunity we get.

Delighted I did not go near this game. Sheff United are a real cup team and are playing well in league one.

QPR seemed to start a fairly strong team in fairness. Austin, fer and eh Rio Ferdinand....
If they started Dunne and wrote his number in black marker on the jersey they would have got a nil nil at least

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

F***ing missed my chance to back this and have followed the game waiting for an opportunity to get on Palace but every time the odds start to look favourable they go and score
