Read in few papers that not a single bouncer was bowled by Kiwis vs Pakistan on the first day.
As a mark of respect, Hesson revealed that his bowlers decided against bowling bouncers the entire day. He said: "You know we didn't have anyone under the lid today, no one fielded with the helmet on. We didn't bowl a bouncer all day. You know that was just one of the things to do ... show some respect."

A nice gesture, but with my (VERY) pedantic hat on, an unnecessary one. The designation of retired hurt implies a not out. See here.

Even so, it's a nice thing to do.

Sean Abbot back in training today.

A quote from the Independant about the Hughes family made me smile. :)
A family member told the Daily Mail Australia that they can’t wait to see Abbott and “give him a big kiss and a hug” in an effort to console the 22-year-old pace bowler.

“We can't wait to see Sean Abbott tomorrow and give him a big kiss and hug,” the family member said.

“We just want to tell him it was freak accident and he cannot think he had anything to do with it.

“No one is blaming him. We want to hug him and tell him that everything is okay.”

Great to see Sean Abbott back playing Cricket. And he is in form.

Sean Abbott took a career-best 6-14 in the second innings of his first match since his short-pitched delivery led to the death of batsman Phillip Hughes.

Abbott, 22, helped New South Wales dismiss Queensland for 99 to win by an innings and 78 runs in the Sheffield Shield at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Ifs and buts. Could have and should have been a world cup winner. All the ability in the world. Spare a thought for the little man and his family. Freak incident and horrible tragedy.
