Hi,

Does anyone know of any Clay Pigeon ground in Dublin or surrounding counties when you can turn up with your own shotgun/cartridges and pay for a round of clays? I'm visiting Ireland in a few weeks and wanted to go clay shooting with a relative who is a game shooter and has a firearms cert. Does the law permit me to use their shotgun under their supervision? The places I've seen so far seem to be set up for corporate days or introductory sessions for beginners.

Have u tried hilltop shooting sports in roundwood co .wicklow ? Once u ring and book a place I'm sure there is no problem. great set up wit compact sporter, ball trap and full sporting set up.

Best bet is to try www.courtlough.ie open 7 days with a very large variety of disciplines and only 20 mins from Dublin City Centre or 10 mins from the Airport

Hilltops compact layout is one of the best around I don't think anyone has managed to clear it yet !
