Mardle's preview  really, have a read and wish for a pound everytime you shake your head.

    http://www1.skysports.com/darts/news/12288/9552519

How can somebody get paid for including in a preview;Kim Huybrechts could get to the final or get beat in all 3 group games or Brendan Dolan could win all 3 or loose all 3 group games!

I don't know how this idiot is involved in televised darts

My third fav tournament of the year after the Worlds and the Matchplay.

Amuses me how they can seed Barney 4 and Norris 8 is almost as bad.

Groups F and G look the strongest.
Fancy Lewis to have a good crack at this one.
Like to see Bunting and Anderson go far as well.

Lot of players in great form the last few weeks, should be a super tournament.

Great win for Rowby-John Rodriguez! Delighted for him and it looks as if he is fairly delighted himself. He threw some great stuff.

Reasonable chance he'll never be seen playing on TV again after his final group game on Monday; hasn't qualified for the Lakeside in January and his Grand Slam qualification from 2013 has now expired.
Doubtful if has the game or attitude to come back.

How many games go on at one time in a session?I see tonight there's a game every half hour scheduled but does one game have to finish before another starts?I didn't think they had more than 2 matches on the go at once.

Only one match is played at a time, there's only one stage.

Yeah its also refreshing to have a match start and finish without an ad break...keeps them moving along nicely.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

That was only because it was first to 5.

    There will be breaks tonight.

Anderson yet again flatters to deceive, he really is an enigma.

Great win for Smith earlier, this guy is going to be a future multiple World Champion IMO.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,141 ✭✭✭Ronan|Raven

what a game between Bunting and Wade.
    Amazing finishing from both players.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,088 ✭✭✭Nib

Pity to see Wade going out, not a fan of Bunting.

I'd love to know who in Sky thought having a Sid Waddell shout "Sen-sash-ional" every time a player was left with 404 to promote their darts channel for Christmas was a good idea. Very strange.
