ive tried the instant ones from aldi and they arent up to much. have had more success with coffee from lidl in general i find their ground coffee is better than aldi. gold blend is overly expensive by far.

Granarom Highland Gold 100% Arabica from Lidl. I switched few months ago and moved savings towards more expensive wine:)

Nescafe Original is a lot cheaper than Gold Blend, and I find it tastes better than a lot of more expensive coffees.

Militant is lovely. It's sold at discount in Mr Price.

I'm drinking the Blue Eclipse FIRST 100% Arabica from LIDL at 2.49 for 200g. Its not the same as Gold Blend, but better than you'd expect for the price!

    Came here to say this.

bonzodog2 seems to like the Blue Eclipse coffee but I didn't like it at all.

do you know what, after trying this coffee from Dealz at €1.49 for a while now i quite like it, its not bad at all, hasnt got the same aroma as the nescafe gold blend but it dont taste too bad, i only have half a teaspoon of it so it will last for ages and its not a bitter taste to it, i dont like really strong coffee anyway. So I reckon when it runs out i shall get another jar if they ave it still in Dealz shop.
