    After a long and hard think about it, I've decided to put my name down after all. I'll probably leave The Governor's Nations League as there's only me and Jambo left anyway, and we're in different divisions!!

    As for teams, I'll probably change mine to Accrington Stanley anyway so it doesn't bother me!:D :P

    The randmiser wont pick teams for people, it will just shake up the order in which people get to pick teams ... it wont be first second come first served, the randomiser will decide when you get to pick

    Sorry yeah, that's what I meant. I'll be changing it from a medium (or big) club to a small one. It makes sense in my head anyway; probably one of the few things that does!

    Then add to this 15+ messages every day because the transfer collapsed as the SMFA refuse to sanction such a deal means managers stop reading mails and start to lose interaction with the GW.

    Just my thoughts. It's your GW. I'm happy to go along with your rules. Just hope interest doesn't fade away like others.

    Agree with monitoring & unmanaged especially

    I think buying from unmanaged might go ON, by the looks of it we're heading for medium teams, probably no great benefit in having buying from unmanaged turned OFF

    It looks like 'Medium' is winning this hands down so I'm starting to search any 'about to start GWs' for clubs in the 80-85 avg rating range.

    There is some tasty clubs in there at that rating ...

    Hi. Baz Foster here - long time reader, infrequent poster. What do we mean by MEDIUM and LARGE? I thought it was stadium sizes? Is it in fact squad sizes? Any help greatly apprecaited.

    sorry, medium and big refers to the clubs / squad ratings so I'm trying to compile a list of teams within a certain avg rating band (80-85)

    initial searches have thrown up the following ( but I havent found a way to check the English Championship, Italian, spanish and french leagues) ...

    Guys, feel free to recruit, just guide the recruits over here ;)

    ... I would prefer if its players that we already know from the 'usual haunts' ( 'The Boards League', 'Copa del Boards', ' The GOOD league', 'The EB league', 'BSM Draft League'....) but if people are recommending others I'm ok with that

    Anyone have any idea how to get clubs avg squad ratings?

    I've managed to get the Portugese and German League and an assortment of clubs from 'about to commence GWs' but obviously ...Italy, Spain, France, England, belgium, brasil, holland, turkey, austria, switserland, argentina, ... are still lacking ... need a way to get them so I can get the 85'ers out of those leagues to complile a lsit

    Stop with free slots. Unmanaged teams are a pain in the ass. There will be enough free slots after a few weeks of 14 day intervals ;) (hopefully not all going well)

    Start in Full IMO.

    OK, I'm waiting on an Italian, Dutch and Belgian GW to be added or a european /world / gold championship that has some teams from those leagues but ...

    This include French, Spanish, English and German and some randoms from 2 new GWs that were starting... I've just picked the teams between 80 and 85 but if people have a team rated less then I have no problem with that.

    Ok, I think its time to start picking our teams ... :eek::eek:

    few guidelines:
    • Teams avg rating needs to be 85 or less
    • Please PM the next person on the list when you made your choice
    • If the number after you is blank, skip to the next ...
    • currently 23 is the next free number, if a player signs up for that number and we've gone passed 23 in the list, he becomes the next pick and then we revert back to the list, if we havent passed 23 yet, he just waits his turn.
    • If we fill the 24 places, then any subsequent entries go to the end of the list and I'll alter the format of the leagues currently 2x12Teams
    • I HAVE NO ISSUE WITH PLAYERS THAT WANT TO WAIT FOR THE FEW OTHER LEAGUES BEFORE DECIDING ON THEIR PICK

    so 2Ds of 12 teams(unless we top 24 players...)

    As Gameworld owner I've afforded myself the luxury of the first pick ... :cool:

    Then I asked mac to run numbers 2->24 though a randomiser and the below is what he came back with

    I'm going to make one further change to the initially proposed rules:

    Loan Rules
    loaning from unmanaged or external clubs ON

    will be changed to
    Loan Rules
    loaning from unmanaged or external clubs OFF

    MODS: can someone ammend this in Post #1?
