In the gw mentioned above(which is open a week with 1000+ transfers done btw) they show under the italian leageu as 87...yet the avg for the full squad shows 84 and the loaned out lads is 79 :eek:... I suspect that the hivher 'outside' screen rating includes loaned in players and the inner doesnt.

I found a way to get the averages quicker, click on gold member league and when that opens up to the left you'll see a list of leagues. If you click on one them that's the teams rating unedited.

When I go add club and click on game world list. Then scroll down and you'll the ones for gold members only. Southampton look like their on the list. I have seen sampdoria at 87.

Those gw's dont show untouched i think, i saw sampdoria at 86 in another one of those.

Im happy with tge list i published initially, that was GWs due to start, so definetly untouched but i need to clarify those i havent been able to get ratings for.

I will say that the initial list is tge ranking on a team when looking at the divisions. I think thats the number i'll base the max 85 on.

But i'll make final jusgement tomorrow.

Teams Update ...

A belgian Gameworld was just added

85 - Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Standard liege,
84 - R. Genk and KAA Gent
83 or less - remainder of the Belgian League

Did a bit of research and from what I can see, is if you google soccer manager and river plate the starting 11 ave is 85 and total team is 81. Sampdoria is 87 an total team is 82.

Corinthians is 86 and 81 entire squad. These are not teams that have been touched. As they are not in playable gameworld. Just google soccer manager and whatever squad to to check my findings. Hope this helps and clears things up, otherwise we could be here for a while.

Just to add to this - make sure you are logged out before you do this as it will show the team from whatever GW you were last in (it might not be exactly as the unaltered/starting version)

Ok .... a few points on the ratings ...

Firstly (as a few have asked) when I say the e.g Belgian League has just been added, what I mean is that SM have listed a 'soon to start' new game world including the Belgian league, what this allows me to do is check the ratings on squads in the Belgian league as they are in this not yet open GW so its the avg team ratings when the teams are untouched.

Secondly, the lists with team posted above are all taken from these not yet started GW's, I took the values that show against the teams when you see them in the division when yo go to select a team in a new GW. AS these were the initial 'avg values I was working off, I'm going to stick to this, so Sampdoria for example show as 87 in that view so they are too high. Corinthians show as 85 in this view and there for are ok.


Hope that clears things up a little ....

Long and short, Tupac ... who do you want to take instead? (PS Feyenoord are 86 so are too high also )



Now, does someone know where phobia2011 is? And,as noone behind Burlap claimed they want to swap for Nice, they are back on the menu ...

Is the decision on which division your going to be in randomised or will the 28 just be cut into 2 divisions? Since it was already randomised.

once we have final numbers I'll ask a un-comprimised member of the boards crew to do a random run splitting in however many divisions we need. with joiners going at the end of the list it isnt as random anymore for them.

I cant remember who DH2K9 manages in one of the other boards leagues (thats where I've been doing my recruiting) ... If someone knows who he manages on SM in another league, can they PM him over there too - more chance of notifications being seen ---EDIT: FOUND HIM

I've also PM'd the 2 players after DH2K9 to give me their possible pick so we can keep this moving, however, this is where it can drag out a bit ...

DH2K9 has 16hrs from 21:42 tonight ... if this deadline is missed the pick moves to the next manager on the list ... DH2K9 can add his pick whenever he makes contack tho, we are just skipping to minimize the possibility of waiting on a player for a long time...


Hopefully not long now before I can start setting up this league...

I've no issues if people want to point other mgrs to this GW.

Currently its looking like 2 x 14, if there is any more we'll go to 2 x 16 and if we were to exceed that number it will go to 3 x 12.
