    Legal discussion:

"I broke the law being a truly horrible person, can I get away with it?"

    Response: "You are horrible!"

Outcome: Infraction, please help the OP with his legal query or don't post here...

Dav mentioned Animals & Pet Issues in one of the FAQ videos a couple of years ago.

i think a lot of them are just very innocent. they're not combatant, they just dote on their pets and are extremely defensive toward those who don't show the same devotion. Many vets in small animal veterinary practice, for example, get legally threatened for things you wouldn't believe, eg suggesting euthanasia. Sometimes these people are alone and vulnerable , there's no badness in it.

Pity most of them have never spilled out of the forum to Manchester or Liverpool.

The whole, tiresome Liverpool/Utd thing keeps me from posting there more often if I'm honest.

The LOI chip on their shoulder brigade give them a run for their money.

And Arsenal fans would be fourth worst naturally.

Conspiracy Theories. The locals are allowed to do what they want by mods. The locals know this and act like apes towards anyone who disagrees with them. The mods ignore this behaviour, and punish those who push back. I don't even read that forum, these days.

Yes. Yes. All very worthy contenders.

But all pale into insignificance compared to the Health and Fitness forum.

Try suggesting Brown bread as part of a diet. Go on, I dares ya!

    or

God forbid, someone posts a weightlifting programme contrary to another poster.

I don't read the forum but those insufferably positive fitness log titles grievously annoy me for some - admittedly petty - reason.

    Sounds like a conspriacy.

I would prefer to mention white bread.

I don't get that either. How did that tradition start. It doesn't bother me, just a bit weird.

Some of the best rows on the whole site used to kick off in there before they got siphoned off and watered down in Dispute Resolution. :pac:

Actually, for the Liverpool v Man U nonsense you can substitute:

    XBOX v Playstation
    Apple V Android
    Boeing V Airbus
    Dublin v The Country
    yada yada yada

We'll have to knock this one on the head. As per the charter:

Similarly please do not insult other forums or groups of posters here in after hours. This is not the place to knock other forums (even though they're usually not shy of insulting after hours).

And plenty of people (not everyone, mind) seem to want to use this as an opportunity to bash forums or users, and that's not fair on anyone.
