Whey protein is pretty expensive and in most cases you don't know what goes into it. Is it possible to make your own protein shakes?? What ingredients should I use?

Unflavoured myprotein impact whey is the cheapest source of protein. It is milk with things taken away from it, nothing goes into it. Buy some protein powder and do a bit of reading.

Whey is by product of the cheese industry. So unless you plan getting raw milk and making cheese. Its not possible to make protein shakes

I know a guy that read a recipe for tuna shakes that was
    1. Put 1 pint of milk in a blender
    2. Add 1 can of tuna
    3. Blend
Unfortunately his sarcasm detector was faulty that day so he made and somehow drank the concoction

Tuna and orange juice was the shake people were making at one time. Disgusting.
