After 10 mins we are losing by 0-04 v 0-00 Hurley was very unlucky not to score a goal. Our passing hasnt been good at all. Too much space being afforded to Dublin at the minute, especially in front of the full foward line. No real pressure being applied by us. We need to get going ot his game will be over by ht.

Brutal start. No intensity from us. Turning over the ball way too easily.

Dubs are pushing up on every kick out, we are passing 8 or 9 times within 30 yards of our goal, brutal stuff that we don't have a keeper with a Proper Kick out!

Early yet but worried bout game so far

Cork can still do well if and I mean if management adapt what see before them

Now is real real test in talking talking no good must react and play lot cotk lads best position
    Midfield very very poor
Two o driscoll are as I feared offering nothing going forward
Dublin imo even playing poorly in second gear
Everything I feared so far coming through
Six points in 20 minutes not good for a blanket defence

    Very poor performance so far

But in fairness now and yes it early I actually don't see how people had confidence in this final in as said many times huge huge problems cork team
Players will be blamed but this team needs management to male changes not their fault

gould cadogan now hardly helping he's cause be fair
Gould has been awful so far

We are being opened up at will. The dubs are working hard but look to be only in second gear, shocking performance so far. 7-2 after 25 mins, lucky to only be 5 down.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 35,027 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Conor Gorman off and Kerrigan on. Good to see changes made early but he looked to be doing quite well, apart from losing the ball just before being taken off, much worse than him out there.

What awful sub Kerrigan fine to point but for dorman yet both driscoll stay on

    Sweet lord I mean seriously
This is so the called blanket defence cork
I said this numerous times were worst defence in league out kerry but course pundits choose ignore this cork and cherry picking in imo cork blanket has not been effective at all stages all
All frees nearly from cork were hanging in there and Dublin only second gear

Booth playing poorly, but the need to go short is as a result of the keeper not having the ability to go long, that is the fault of the keeper, no one else.

30 gone 7 v 4 all 4 from frees. Somehow we are still in this.

Pen for Dublin gives them the daylight they needed

1-09 v 0-04. Don't think we will have the same comeback á la the hurlers

Driscolls are undroppale as is gould

This is appalling performance I'm sorry say and I think unless things change false dawns lucky wins bar one came back to cork and there's imo no improve from last year ist half performance
Management are imo awful and teams needs changed mean right changes and we may have a chance but they won't

I'd any surprise tbh full back line torn a new one
Corner back playing full galvin confidence must be gone when yes on now but he should started

Let's hope Dublin take gas off as if want win this will be whatever score they want
But you see the good old cork public some preached ah get behind team don't be so negative
Again no one likes negative views but look at utter shambles ist half when not calling spade spade got us

Next move wait it probably take offence hurley or o Neill and Goulding be on when not their fault their getting no ball

How many points play we got?!!

I dont think the Dubs needed any daylight, they have simply annihilating Cork in the first half.

There is persistent fouling of our full forward line. Has the ref shown any yellows yet?!

Edit. Half time 1-9 to 5 points behind. Brutal stuff. Nothing in the 35 minutes to suggest 2nd half will be a any different.

Got to be one of the worst halves of football ever from Cork.

    No intensity. No desire

They look like they just want to have a day out. No one is tackling and getting close to their man.It looks like Dublin have extra players on the field

    1-09 v 0-05 at ht

Commentator said with the gap that's there Cork will have to come up with a plan B

Therein lies the problem, I don't think there is one!

Very true. I was about to say the first goal will be very important. If we got it we would have been close to them having been brutal. They go it it, which means we are 7 down but importantly we are still brutal!
If Dublin increased their intensity or even upped it a bit we could be in for an awful hiding. Don't think they will though.
Think we will win the second half by scoring a few goals but lose the game by 5 or 6

Plan b..........ffs don't make me laugh, they don't have a plan a from that pathetic display. I presume the ccb are getting their 'leave the palyers alone' ****e ready. How they have played like that after last year is beyond belief im. While I didn't think we would beat Dublin I thought we would give them a game. Our entire half forward line have made zero impact, Jamie osullivan has made one contribution when he tried to break connollys jaw. Dorman palyed out of position in midfield and taken off for .......kerrigna a player who wont make any impact on a day like this.
What are we trying to do in defence? do any of these fellas know how to defend? Where is the tight marking like hurley andoneill are getting? Absolutely soul destroying again for cork football

That was brutal altogether. He also fouled Philly McMahon.

If things stay same we hsve learned nothing absolutely nothing from last year and haven't bar flangan improved

Christ above I said here two weeks consistently we had conceded 7-109 up now

Now I can a normal joe soap see there's huge huge huge issues defence surely it's fair said outstanding manager gavin see this and he is Dublin picking cork off at will

The driscoll and gould I have been told ah don't be too harsh them many times before

Again nothing personal but in all honesty gould fine league games big big games not this standard and too driscolls are not creative

    Kerry are smiling

And Dublin are still not full throttle

To hsve any chance cadogan to corner
Clancy o dounoughe be brought on then loughrey
Half forward line Kerrigan Collins rourke

    Hurley and colm inside
Midfield such shambles but again wonderful management decided ignore this all league and cork actually have no one bring on solve it

Wait for it Collins will go back
Well see john Hayes and Barry o driscoll probably for hurley or o Neill

Only hope Dublin stop playing and let cork off hook and cork get momentum

Dublin will only loose as unless management cork make changes cork won't win it current team

Again awful see as good players made look poorer

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 35,027 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

John o rourke off, shoulder/ collar bone injury. Goulding on

Absolute cluster**** on the goal line, should have been a cork goal

But you see Sean as said before yesterday there's a certain brigade fan cork gaa dare not critse and cork football lacks modesty honesty within to call things as is

    No surprise me

Anyone read my posts know huge concerns I had

Now I apologise at times some talk I repeat and is nauseating but only reason keep saying it is this management keep making the same yes same mistakes overall and over and over and over and over again

What a shambles I'm sorry say

Sean all you say is true and unfortunately views like both us put us unpopular at times when all were doing is calling it as it is

I'm gutted absolutely sickened if we loose huge margin as cork football deserves so so much more
I said donegal game was a false false dawn yet some punditry written cork turning a corner was impressed baffling

Wait for them post match interview regards cuthbert ah unlucky with Goulding hitting lost huge turning point game when we're actually being destroyed up then

Splendid interview yesterday with Tony leen in examiner yesterday gave him credit

However unfortunately talking talking absolutely useless if he can't walk the walk
    And he can't
Huge problems all can be fixed but biggest one is we actually have poor poor manager
Were same as last year even worse probably

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 35,027 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

Opened up soooo easily again, lucky not to let another goal in.
1-11 v 0-05. A few scores from play might give us something to talk about

How can we score goals best defensive side league with colm and Kevin and no possession??
We don't even have plan a

Twas like the Red Sea paring for Bastic there. Disgraceful from Cork. We have 15 you'd expect that when you are down to 13.

Pathetic performance, no heart, no intensity, no plan B, yet again we are seeing Cuthbert out if his depth.

    1-14 v 0-05

If Cork dont do something drastic they are in serious danger of a hiding here.

    Edit. Goal. Well that helps.
