With respect i respect your right to opinon but such nonense imo

With respect, I respect your own opinion but also believe it is complete waffle.

You are the same guy said Cork were

    'not showing your full hand'

in the league final and you were 100% Cork would beat Waterford in the first round. Some man to roll back your opinion

I agree re Horgan and said before the game that he had to be moved out of there. From the word go he was left inside and I knew we could be in for a long day.
As regards being negative u can call it what u like we're entitled to say what we feel about our own team. You call it negativity I call it reality. Jesus half the problem here is not calling things as they in the county and it's been going on for years. We get vilified sometimes for being arrogant cork whores but if we give an honest opinion then we're too negative. If I saw things to be positive about Sunday id have said it.
As to being in an all Ireland final 2 years ago I mean I dunno what the hell you mean when u say that. All Ireland's are for winning not for saying we were there. Living off past victories is one thing living off past defeats is something else.

Glad you agree re Horgan, think the space out there would have done him the world of good. Look, I'm not saying don't be negative but as an outsider I don't think things are as bad in Cork as some make out.

I watched JBM and a fantastic player but on tactics think he's out of his depth. Not playing sweeper last Sunday was madness in my view

The reason I mentioned the All Ireland, you were leading at the end of normal time so you couldn't have been much closer without winning it.

Well if u could maybe expand on why u think we're too negative on here, by all means, I'm all ears :)

    And wrong there
Due to injiries i said cork would loose all week and if you look at my posts i said wayerford being waterford probaly struggle and win by a few points and make it harder than it should be

Waterford had worse injuries in Pauric Mahony since your prediction.
Anyway that has been discussed to death, we'll agree to disagree.

Suppose you still think JBM wasn't showing his full hand in the league final.

You got it wrong TTM but haven't the balls to admit it.

    Good luck.

That seems like a very strong bench on the senior team.

2 defenders, 3 midfielders and afew forwards of the same average level and the best footballer in cork paddy Kelly stewing on the bench again.

The worst cork team I have seen named in a long time - 4 odriscolls only brian is good enough, barry o driscoll is not and never has been a wing back ffs............loughrey and dorman named in the full back line both half backs and both average at that while Stephen Cronin is a corner back.
This is cluelss, the review involved no dropping of mediocrity only selecting a few young lads, who will going on form be dropped again without kicking a ball.
O hallorhan has had melt down after melt down with his kickouts over the last 2 years and starts yet again

Dummy team there named by Cork anyway..at least you'd imagine it is. Cronin, Dorman, Barry and Kevin O'Driscoll all out of position. Then again, it won't matter hugely you'd reckon as the defensive pattern will be in place.

    )
As i said as predictable as night folllow day
Christ above they have no clue basic football concepts corner back play with two half backs playing full
Half back line too attack minded with half forward play wing back no holding centre back

Once great midfielder who has no pace with average inter county player who can't kick long and not great catch ball but is just find club player
Half forward line with o driscoll who can run tackle but can't create or score
Kerrigan is fine these games but won't do in kerry
    Collins is fine
    Full forward line is fine

Kellher sub as target man that won't work v kerry
    Only one corner back sub
Subs have no balance imo cover all positions.

Before anyone thinks I'm blunt and harsh this is not but look at the old teams usual stuff along same lines and yes root and branch review took place but nothing has been learned

Cronin fine player like Dorman etc but could be subbed if things go wrong
Clare due to injuries won't test cork but a full strength team would beat them or tipp
Same old poor team selection and it's not the players but it's being played out position and some asked do jobs they can't do

Junior team is strong and kiely Hyde sugre condon and corkery are the ones to watch.
This is no dummy team as all these played these positions under management

we are lucky Clare seem to be riddled with injuries.

    Are you kidding me
    What defense pattern
This management at minor senior last two years can't defence style as the past and league shows
They haven't a clue how to play defence and all it is is numbers back
Last three challenges proved it again

Sean this is absolutely awful again
In the week regarding it i said it be same old teams again
Two driscoll are automatic to start v kerry their undroppable under cuthbert and play hurling he's club
This management have no idea how to pick a team

Sorry now but gould hayes o shea young Kellher who isn't going be target man they think is not good bench with Maguire shouldn't be risked as he's struggling back injury
This is not a strong bench overall let's call a spade a spade

I'd agree with playing out position and don't doubt they will start there your right worst cork team in a while
What do you make kevin and colm
    You see a lot games
    Are they good enough?

Well, yeah that's what I mean, numbers back..not sure if there's an actual pattern.
Given Clare's injuries then this game won't be much of a test anyway most likely.

Not impressed by that team selection. It contains too many players that are not good enough and particularly not playing in their best position. I am just glad we are not up against a stronger team, or we would be in trouble. We should still win handily enough, no disrespect meant, but it is yet another blunder in my opinion. We will go in to the Kerry game a bit all over the place. He will go into it not really knowing who is a fb, hb etc. And then we will be in trouble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 355 ✭✭sean mac

Ttm, neither us good enough but they hurl with right club. Terrible team no understanding of what a defender needs to do,imo every defender eccept shields picked in the wrong position. Paddy kelly not started again what a waste. Keepers kickouts not addressed again, subs bench all over the place, ephie will be bulling over clare injuries far superior coach to cuthbert and his crew would have fancied clare if tubridy and collins available, this squad is going to get hosed in killarney

After Thurles we needed something to be positive about ....mother of divine this team are they having a joke ....players just picked of the top of there heads ....Conor Dorman, Loughrey, Stephen Cronin {on his debut} Barry O Driscoll, Kevin O Driscoll all out of position...Fintan Goold not good enough to start anymore ...Alan O Connor been asked to be our midfield saviour ...with respects to Colm and Kevin O Driscoll the league final showed them up at this level ....Colm as a sub maybe ....this manager is out of his depth has been since day one he has got to go Cork football has gone back so much under his watch its time to stop ..I am sick in my stomach ....

Cork double wait for it though

One cork pundit who fast enough critical hurling and indeed other sports calls out other poor management he won't say things bout this team and convinced cuthbert is saviour cork football

This selection is utterly appalling in they learned not a duck or flying kangaroo in the wind things after Dublin
They make same mistake over and over and over and over and over over again
cork win handy they think this team is flying when another false dawns awaits
