    Strictly for personal use

    Is it relatively straightforward?

    Thanks

it grows in hot climates with high amounts of sunlight heat and very particular soil conditions. in other words you need to replicate the climatic conditions of south of the equater, heat the correct levels of sunlight and moisture. like any sub tropiccal plant if it has the right conditions it will grow. as an example of what you would need people who grow this usually have to super heat houses using hvac systems. for a domestic house it means cutting holes in the ceiling and the floor inserting vents lamps and more or less doing damage to the house in question.

Can some one link a dummy diy grow kit for the op?

Very easy to grow in something like this with a 125 watt cfl for veg and a 400hps for flower. It would consume around 400kWh total and produce approx. a quarter pound.

When you say control the smell?

    How is that achieved?

'Northern Lights' is definitely the least smelling strain, but you'll still need a carbon filter.

The good news, though, is you won't need the carbon filter until about week 4 or 5 of flowering. Before that it'll just smell like grass clippings.

That's the tutorial for today. Next week we will duscuss how to grow magic mushrooms in mid winter. I'm sure you folks will look forward to this new method of growing. Until next week, this is grow your own signing out. Enjoy.

    for veg / for flower.

Out of curiosity, do the leaves of a cannabis plant contain a lot less 'buzz' than the flowers?

Forget the leaves, seriously, unless you plan on sleeping for the whole day.

It's the Bud you want, not the leaves. But you can make tea from the leaves if you like, soak them in warm water for a day or three making sure the cup or jug is sealed tight with a cover or tinfoil, and enjoy it. But bud is really what most folk like, not the leaves. The leaves of the female cannabis plant are usually used to make Hash. But hash really tires you, heavy indica.

Growing Sativa female cannabis plants take a bit longer to flower but this is the very nice weed. indica is a bit heavy of a feeling.

What else do you need with one of those? Where do you get seeds to start off?

'The Grow House' shop in Dublin. Maybe they have a few stores around the country.

Some nutrients, a light or two and some growing medium is about the height of it. You can buy seeds and everything else for that matter in brick and mortar stores around Ireland.

But what if you're looking for a sleepy buzz instead of a trippy buzz?

Gonna go out on a limb here and say some people ITT get a lot better marijuana than what a lot of what's typically available in Ireland?

Then go for cannabis strains of indica. Sativa gives you a creative thinking buzz - an awake high, euphorical feeling. Smoking an indica leaved plant or hash, as hash is made from the leaves of the cannabis indica plant will make you sleepy very quick. Watch the posture when soo relaxed, trust me.
