I doubt Keane held a press conference about it/made an announcement.

Personally, NO, absolutely not.
Tubs abysmal interviewing skills put me off the show, for many a year.
Until...I discovered the thread.

I think Tubs views all sports figures as playing this mystical weird sport he has never seen but must cover due to RTE pressure. He has the same questions for them all anyhow
