I was looking at buying a new lamp for foxes and was wondering would anyone have any particular lamps they would recommend for me to buy and a battery pack to go with it too.
    Thanks.

I run a Lightforce 140, scope mounted, lamp and Deben double battery pack. I usually only carry one battery in it as they get very heavy after a short while and uncomfortable to carry. However other than a HiD they are unrivaled in terms of quality against the like of CluLite, Wildhunter, etc.

Now if you want a small torch that mounts to the rifle and can also be carried by hand i'd recommend the Wildhunter Predator 800. I done a review on them here.

I'd recommend the nightmaster 800 with the xsearcher head attachment. Serious amount of light in a small torch with extendible options. Not cheap but definitely the business.
