Speaking of, any advice for someone who owns no businesses? I half 1.5 mil and was gonna buy a night club as i read it has a good few missions to go with it but not sure if i should go with something else first to build up some money before the casino.

1.5m won't go very far for the NC at all. Do you have a clubhouse? If not, I'd buy one of those (the Great Chaparel one is ideal). Then buy the cocaine business and upgrade the staff and equipment if you can afford it.

It needs to produce in the background. It takes about 2 hours to produce one full round of supplies, and it takes two and a half rounds of supplies to fill up a bar of product. I usually just afk in a job for two hours then come back to resupply (although I tend to buy supplies rather than steal because you get more).

Starting out though, you'd probably be better off selling after one round of supplies as it gives you less delivery vehicles.

After the Coke, go for the Meth, Cash, and then Weed businesses, in that order. The bunker is good money two but it's quite expensive to put up.

Also the ideal locations for the businesses are

    Cocaine - Alamo Sea
    Meth - Grand Senora Desert
    Cash - Grand Senora Desert
    Weed - San Chianski

I'd usually only sell public solo lobbies as well. Yes, you'd be technically forgoing the lobby business, but you'd only get that if you actually manage to sell any product which, in a random lobby, is highly unlikely.

Not sure if you know about the MTU method to get a solo public lobby. Basically....Go to network settings
    Set up new connection
    Custom Set Up
Select automatic for the next couple until it comes to "MTU Settings" for which you select manual
Set it at 600 (it can be set between 600 and 1500) and hit accept
Hit automatic or whatever for the next one (think its proxy - don't change it anyway whatever it's on).
When you get to "Test Internet Connection" just press circle (it should send you back to the menu.)
Then run the game, go online, and you should be in your own lobby.
If you get a connection error then just up the number to 650 (it's basically trial and error from that perspective).

I know myself from trying to get the brothers set up that it's really tough to start off earning money but after that it's quite easy.

This is a calculation on how profitable the MC businesses are and the time needed for each business. :)

Haven’t played much of this lately but I found the MC missions a pain. Never enjoyed doing them and they’re really long and drawn out.

I personally think the nightclub is great. Generates a passive income and the sales are a lot easier. Plus the missions are excellent. One of the better updates in the game imo.

Thanks wilberto, great info there. Yeah i usually get an hour or 2 of game time so don't want to be waiting around for a supply. Is it worth buying the cheapest nightclub and doing the missions to go with it to make some money to upgrade or do ye think id have to make another few mil first before touching the NC?

Oh it is, tbf, but you do need a bit of investment up front before you really start to print money off it.

I still love the NC update.

Not too sure what to expect with the Casino though.

I can't remember the specifics so I'm not sure if any of the other properties are needed to actually generate an income. Check out the GTASeriesVideos on YouTube, they do a good deep dive.

Yup, to earn any proper income from the NC you do kinda need the MC business, Bunker, and either a hanger or a Warehouse. Otherwise you'd just be earning popularity money at 10k every 48 minutes which is nothing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,549 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Hmmm i might leave it so, wait for the casino and put my 1.5 mil on black.

If you have twitch prime, you can claim GTA$1,250,000 in GTA Online and up to 15% bonus GTA$ on all Shark Cash Card purchases.

Twitch prime is included with Amazon Prime

So many bonuses on at the moment to help ye earn cash for the new DLC.

    2X MC Businesses
    2X Special Cargo
    2X Bunker
3X Air-Freight Cargo (but still not worth it).

    :)
Yeah Air Freight would need to be quadruple.

I've 275/555 crates collected. That's 5 big warehouses. When I sell the 5 of them with my buddies in a busy lobby next week I'll take it about 27M.

Sold a bunker today for 2 million and have about 2m worth of biker supplies and a full nightclub ready to go. Currently sitting on $60M total but that should easily hit 90-100m come next Wednesday.

What a perfect week of bonuses before the Casino comes out. To get everything and the vehicles they'll drip feed after it will probably cost $50m+. I'm expecting another big update in December so it might seem like overkill but getting to $100m should sort me out for the rest of the year. Still have to buy the Volotol and Vigilante so they're extra costs but I'm waiting for them on sale.

Yeah, even with the mountain of cash I have, I still only buy things when they're on sale. :pac:

You must just spend your days collecting cargo crates when your online?

Presumably he does three crates at a time though, and only sells at double money. At least that's what I did when I ran crates. Don't have as much time now though so I just go the afk route. :)

Exactly. I haven't been on in weeks but since this double money thing started I've already gathered 402/555. Can't get on again until Monday but I'll easily fill all 5 and sell them for 27M. And between the nightclub, bunker, coke, meth, and money laundering I'll probably make another 10M. Handy week and I should be between 90-100m by the time the casino launches. It's worth grinding weeks like these.

I park the terrobyte outside one of the warehouses and probably average 3 crates every 2 mins. That's about 90 an hour. The oppressor and a friend or randoms come in handy!

I'll have to add you as a friend for my crates so..

    Oh no!
I just had an awful thought!
The casino is going to open as a business!
You won't be able to gamble at it at all

Damn, I hope I'm wrong :pac:

Started GTA online and loving it. Think it's even better than the single player.

I made $170000 and reached rank 18 in less than 2 days. :pac:
If you want to rank up as fast as possible buy a CEO office. They buy two warehouses and do the crates to fill it up.

The fastest way is to own a terrobyte. Park it outside one of the warehouses and use it to start the crate resupplies instead of going back to your warehouse. The only problem is to get the terrobyte you need to own the nightclub. And the most efficient way to collect crates is owning the oppressor which you need the terrobyte.

    So you need:
    CEO office
    Two large warehouses
    Nightclub
    Terrobyte
    Oppressor

They will all cost a fortune but worth setting them as goals to buy.

A week ago I had roughly 58M I think now I've got 99M and I'm about to do a nightclub sale to break the 100M mark for the first time ever.

I was around level 288 and now I'm 317. That's mainly from doing crates. So definitely the best way to level up. They were on double money and probably double xp too so that helps.

Every Thursdays evening check out the newswire to see what's on sale or double money/xp for the next week.

The 4th of July week was last week and is over now. They'll update the next week in a few hours but I doubt there will be anything special.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I want another business. I can't see it though on account of there being only one casino location. It would be madness in lobbies.

It'll be more like the Arena update and will have activities inside it so I reckon you'll get your wish.

It'll be a "no lose" kind of gambling similar to the wheel in Arena Wars. That's how they'll (Rockstar) will get away with it as technically it's not gambling if your always going to win something.

It's a great feeling breaking that 9 digit barrier.

Oh yeah, it's not going to be a flop by any means!
But when I heard the casino is opening, I thought I could rock up and spend my millions (1.4) :D

But earlier I just thought, that's not how any update has ever gone in this games, it'll probably be a business and no actual gambling!

Also, they'll have all their bases covered for certain. Not only will they not want to run foul of actual gambling laws, they won't want to screw up their GTA$ economy either!

Here's this week's updates. Quite as expected on the double money side of things but they've kept a lot of important things on 40% off.

I hope they add the dept collectors/kill squad they had in San Andreas that come after you when you owe the casino a debt.

Did the double money on the biker, bunker and warehouses not end this week?

Not if you don't close the app. :pac:

I mean, the game will crash eventually but if seen people get about two weeks from using that trick.
