Well if you want to pay standard price for knock off products that will break... I checked my nautilus which I bought from there (the security code) and the same code has been used 53 times and is a fake.

I got suspicious after it had broken on me after only having it a few days. I'll post screenshot in the next post

I bought an Aspire Nautilus from them a few days ago.

Just tried the security check there and it says "undefined"

I have not used it yet. Not sure if it genuine now or not.

Undefined means it's not genuine.. A genuine product will display something along the lines of "this product is a genuine aspire". I bought a protank mini 3 from vapefreaks and when I typed the code in it said that it's a genuine kanger tech so I assume aspire is the same

Cheers Snake. I have e-mailed them and await their response.

I will update this thread if they replace it with a genuine one or if i get a refund.

    E-SHOP
    10 Johns Avenue
    Waterford
    Ireland
    Company's Registration Number: 466694
    Registered company name: E-shop

Companies Registration Office says this regarding reg No. 466694:
    UNISAVE PHARMACY LIMITED
    Address:
    ROCHFORDS PHARMACY
    6 WESTGATE BUSINESS PARK
    KILRUSH ROAD
    ENNIS CO. CLARE

And CRO says this about "E-shop":
Your Company search for "E-shop" yielded no result.

Draw your own conclusions, but I'm gonna fire them off an email and see if they, or the Companies Registration Office are telling porkies. :p

I bought juice from them back in February 2013. They had a special offer, 10ml for €2. I bought 10 bottles.

I kept getting nic sick everytime I vaped it which led me to believe the mg level was way off. Instead of 11mg it felt more like 24mg or higher, ended up giving it away.

I sent them an email asking about the mg level and the brand but they never replied. I made a post here about it at the time but can't remember where. Needles to say I never ordered from them again.

I ordered a protank 3 off them before, genuine one, code checked up aswell. Was happy out.
Ordered a Vivi Nova off them couple weeks later, worst piece of sh1t I've ever used.

Friend of mine regularly gets juice off them and has no complaints.

Personally, I wouldn't buy from them again because of the cheap copy of the Vivi Nova, but in saying that I still use the protank and am quiet happy with it.

Certainly looks like the real deal.

If it's a copy, it's a good one!! The box that is lol.

Serial No. is the only way to check for sure.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,844 ✭✭✭Snake

Box is fake. They use plastic real aspire only uses cardboard that's been compressed. Environment and all that

Just purchased from the The Best Shop. Now I just have to wait and see. Does anyone know should the box of replacement coils have a security code as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 481 ✭✭nuttyboy79

All the Aspire stuff has the code AFAIK. I bought my 2 BDC glassomizer and Mini Nautilis from Ecovape and all are genuine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,292 ✭✭✭naughtysmurf

My Best Shop purchase checks out as genuine, the Aspire Nautilis inscription in Moonboy52's pic seems black, mine is silver

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15 O Magician OO

No the Fake I got from E-Shop had silver text also. Most noticeable problems were bad box production and the obvious fake code which had been checked previously. Dont know if the genuine ones have them or not but mine had a clear plastic cover over the tank when you opened the box which just didnt really fit properly. I also got replacement coils when I bought this and there was no security tag on the box either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,292 ✭✭✭naughtysmurf

I've also just checked two box's of replacement atomizers, one from The Best Shop & one from esmokeireland, both genuine so probably safe to assume these vendors are ok, (kinda knew that anyway)

How much did you pay for your dodgy Nautilis's, think I payed about €22 for genuine product

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15 O Magician OO

€19.99 For the tank. €10 for the coils ( 5 ) In fairness they didnt argue when I said I was sending it back but I would suspect they will just try to sell it on and hope that the odds are the next person wont check. That said with no security tag on the box for the coils they must have known they were bogus.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Neil_Sedaka

Aspire, Kangertech and Innokin have always checked out as genuine on anything I bought from vapefreaks.

Same as. I bought the protank mini 3 100% genuine. I'll be buying my new nautilus from there too.

I can't imagine the best shop selling fake stuff either, it's a kiss of death for any serious vendor.

    Well maybe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭Neil_Sedaka

Nah, probably only 50 or 60 of their potential customers will ever read this thread. Joe public will continue to buy from them unaware of the situation.

But we live in hope all the same :P

What should be done is Kanger/Aspire should be notified and let them pursue it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20 ALVINI

This is Aspire support answer to the "UNDEFINED" answer:

    Dear Customer,
If it says "undefined",We are sorry to tell you that the products you have bought are fake aspire products, they are not our original.
Or you can send the security code to our service, mail address:service at aspirecig.com,let he or she double checked for you!
    Thank you!

I hope this clears this up a bit...

Anyway... Where do you check the codes? I want to check my stock as well, I got from their authorized distributor.... There is nothing on their website, or I just am to stupid to find it...? :)

I may be mistaken, but i thought i read that it is only the Nautilus mini that uses the cardboard type packaging.

It looks the real deal. The black is a deep black and the text is of a high quality.

I am still sending it back. i am not taking any chances

I think you could be right moonboy52. If I recall, the inner part holding my nautilus tank was made of plastic. It was the real deal though.

This was the address I was given to return it. Not St John's Ave. Not a B&M shop at all just a guy selling out of his house. Nothing against this but he shouldn't give a false address on their website.

I checked out the company registration offices website used the reg number and like Neil it brought up unisave pharmacy in Co. Clare search e-shop and you'll be given 2 results e-shop in John's Avenue and e-shop.ie in dublin..

In case anyone else makes the same mistake as i did.

I was checking directly on check.aspirecig.com as ABP had the box on the bottom right of Aspire's main page hidden :o

I disabled ABP on the page, entered the code and the popup window then appears saying the code had been used 69 times and not "undefined"
