    Delegate!
Does that disperse the xp around or do they tend to give it to certain guys?

I've give it to one or 2 younguns too but they're only getting 420xp a week and then no other players are getting any.

I noticed this year, it's a huge difference between updating a single stat point on a rookie compared to a vet. For key stats like MC Browner needs 10,000 compared to Logan Ryan needing 1000. They both have a similar enough level high 80's.

There is three things that affect how much xp they can get. The players development trait, the coaches development trait and the players consistency.

I don't bother giving any vets any help because it's too expensive. On my team the pats. I give 4 players the lines share of the game prep. Vereen HB, Hightower and Collins LB, and chandler jones re. They're all either three years or less in the league.

Every now and again, I'll give Logan Ryan CB, or some rookie OL some help if I have extra game prep.

That's it, never boast players confidence.

I've picked my 4 key players to develop because unlike last year you can't develop everybody.

The only thing to do is hope they complete their personal season goals, and regardless of the age of the player they will get a huge xp boast.

can i ask what do yous scout most about a player to see if he fits the teams play style? i cant seem to get enough xp for the player overall

It depends on what position really...Eg CB you want man to man, zone, press, pursuit, play recognition and probably speed.

DL you want power moves, finesse moves etc

You can find pretty good players with low overalls but pretty decent stats

Depending on what it's for. If it's my own franchise were I'll be playing 5+ seasons I focus on athletic attributes. Speed, strength, acc, agility, size as there the hardest to boast.

If it's for an online franchise. You'll have very little time to develop them so I can for skills above athleticism.

I find none of those matter at all really, I wouldn't even bother scouting them.

Just got annihilated by the CPU, not sure I'll ever win a game to be honest, seems a lot different from last season.

Challenges seem to take ages, surely there should be some way of skipping all the BS? Also I REALLY hate Phil Simms.

It is very, very difficult. I'm still in the Madden 25 mindset when playing I think, thinking "this play is good in this situation" but it has been completely revamped. I've lost far more than I've won and I've only really been playing the CPU. I struggle to ever get a run game going.

A huge flaw I've found is when you get prompted to challenge a play. (Lt button) and there next play I suspect is a passing play. I press LT to bring up the coverage section. where I can commit to the run or pass. It always assumes I want to challenge the play. No matter how long I leave it.

The "coach suggestions" thing they replaced "Ask Madden" with sucks .
I don't see alot of variation in the plays it suggests(well for me anyway),bring back ask madden :D

Anyone else notice when your player is running with the ball, you cant change direction as quickly on the One like you can on the 360.

yes i noticed that and if your a defender you tend to go off course as you change direction to tackle

On the 360 everything was slow motion compared to this, i think it's a timing thing.

I dont know, maybe, i just find when running with the ball, the player sort of stops 1st to change direction, didnt happen on the 360.

if your catching the ball and cutting for a space with a reciver he stops dead to turn losing that valuable ground

in offline franchise i decided i would do owner mode and picked chargers and raiders, at the end of the first season im having cap trouble resiging players like royals, woodhouse as i dont have the cap, how do you work this, in madden 25 i just coached and created a player so never noticed cap at all

Agree with the comments re: the run game, but I think I'm starting to finally get to grips with it, even though I'm still not running for a huge amount of yards it has improved.

It really is vital to be aware of that red arrow which tells you the course of your run and where to hit for the block. I've been following that with precision the last few games I've played and am starting to get around a total of 80-100 yards rushing a game - which when compared to a real life NFL team ranks about 22nd-30th overall. As I said, not a huge amount but it's getting better.

Sure, it is virtually impossible to cut like last year and it is frustrating when the RB just gets stuck behind the OL. I don't think people are ever going to see the type of 250 yard rushing games that were consistent last year either. They've probably under-powered it a little too much if anything now.

I have never played any madden or NFL games, is this easy to pick up? I have watched some NFL games on Sky and know a little about the game but after seeing the review of rugby 15 I'm looking for some other type of football game

I would say its easy to pick up and play but difficult to master once you get more into it,there's a pretty good skills trainer(Tutorial mode) in it thats teachs you pretty much all you need to know starting out.

just wondering about coach xp and the player progression xp, whats the best way to go about that, in the first season i never used it, so would have been a loss to a player

Pick 2 or 3 at most young players on your squad who you want to keep long term and develop them in your first few seasons.

With the Vikings I picked Bridgewater and Patterson followed by Anthony Barr on defense.

Some players have a higher development rating, you want to develop these guys as you get a lot more bang for your buck in terms of XP gained per game prep.

Always use the Earn XP game prep option and focus on 1 or 2 players max per week.

You can turn an 80 overall player into an 89/90 overall player in your first season if you focus training on them.

If you are in it for the long haul, drafting players mid-late rounds and developing them in season 1/2 can turn them into valuable trade bait.

With Zimmer as my coach in season 1 I spent 7500 coach XP on the 20% reduction for all packages, then in season 2 picked up WR and QB development increase - to tie in with Bridgewater/Patterson development.

Come up with a plan and stick to it. If you try be a jack of all trades it will be a massive waste of time.
