So disheartening when you have an attacking player who does nothing in a 4-0 victory (Eriksen). Might swap him for Lamela.

Eriksen is playing good from what I read, and hit crossbar.

    Lamela you beaut.

I love it when a start of the season risk works out.

I know, Adebayor as captain working out well for me, should get Bonus points as well, have Eiksen too be nice if he could get something.

People thought I was mad making him captain this weekend.

Charlie Adam assist on FPL. Reading BBC it sounds like its clearly Bardsley. Big stroke of luck for anyone with either player.

    They've given it to Bardsley.

    Makes up somewhat for Chester.

    Assist to Bardsley given :D

That should steady the ship of transfers out for a little while :)

Bardsley shot one into the ground, looped onto post, bounced off keeper on way out, to Shawcross who scrambles it over line.

Shawcross goal means that my defenders may very well outscore my forwards unless Rooney steps up to the plate!

    That match was depressing.

He's played pretty well and gotten into a few positions where he might have scored points but I think Lamela is just a better ff option, he's playing off the striker and looks very dangerous. He just seems a lot more involved in and around the box than Eriksen does.

2 points from Pieters and bye bye Bojan. Abysmal. Need a Mata wonderclass in a United win to nil if I want any chance of breaking 50 this week.

Could do with De Gea keeping a cleanie now

47 with Rooney, Mata, De Gea and Silva left. So far so good

Bardsley first sub, Wisdom second sub. I'd never have started either over Terry, Debuchy or Taylor so can't be too disappointed.

Lots of interest in this upcoming game now. De Gea, Mata, Rooney and Fletcher.

Without trying to come across as a pr1ck or as captain hindsight, regardless of his preseason form, Bojan was not a good pick. Failure after failure since showing promise as a youngster.

Having said that my own cheap striker Fletcher I expect be on 4 points after today, and none of the realistic cheap alternatives with the exception of Naismith (who I personally didn't even consider) have performed well so it hasn't really worked out too badly.

Hard to see much value in the cheap - mid ranges strikers this year, which is why I'm considering going with the big guns aguero, diego costa and sturridge. Barring injury they'll be the three top scorers in the game imo. I'll have to sacrifice a big hitting midfielder like Fabregas, but so be it.

Yeah, the goal would have done it. I just love that movie.

Spurs have used 9 midfielders in 2 games.

None of the mid range strikers fill me with confidence either (Adebayor might go on a purple patch) so I did Fletcher to Naismith last night. Will play that out for a bit and then go big three strikers once I have the means to do so.
