Thanks TB. I experienced connectivity issues for the first time this evening. To help all on the final two rounds, I'd recommend the following:

1. Clear your cache/cookies etc
2. Close all applications
3. Do the above and then restart your computer
4. Then play with only MC open

Large cache on your browser and unresolved issues using other applications on your PC affects the performance of your PC on the day so using it fresh from start up appears to help a great deal.

Best of luck everyone in the final few rounds

Hi Pass, thanks for asking... lemme review it and see what's amiss in the calculations...

Grid's Rounds = 7 wins and 1 draw.... = 96% round percentage
Grids Games = played 68 games and won 47 of them = 69% game win ratio
= 165% overall win percentage (round and games added together)

Passengers Rounds = 7 wins and 1 draw... = 96% round percentage
Passengers Games = played 83 and won 55 of them = 66% game win ratio
= 162% overall win percentage (round and gamed added together)

So, the only difference is the amount of games played divided by the wins...
In other words, Grid won his rounds with fewer games played than Pass did... Or, Pass lost a few more overall than Grid. Unless my numbers are off - hence I shall go now and review Stereo's spiffy score spreadsheet for verification.

Let's take a look...

Grid played a total of 68 games played (62 showing in worksheet+8 from round 8).

Pass played a total of 83 games (70 showing in stereos worksheet, 0 from round 8 and 10 from round 7...but stereo's round 5 score with ckdex is not what I show - I recorded 8-5 ckdex while stereo shows 8-3) ... Since Stereo's and my counts disagree on round 5, I am headed to go back thru the thread and see what the actual posted score was with CKDex. Be back in a sec... Also I have another theory I wish to mention...

Aha! I was wrong, Stereo was right - 8-3 CKDex in round 5... (btw, CK, I did have your score correct for round 5, I only input passengers :O wrong...)


So, that changes ... with 81 games played and 55 won, Passengers overall win percentage is actually 164% ... (sorry about that pass )

One more thing we should take into consideration is Kupus - Grid did not play him in round 7, so while he received a 3 point round win and a 0% game win percentage, his number of games played (or won) did not increase, nor did his game win percentage.

While Passenger DID play Kupus in round 1... Pass received a 3 point round win, and he earned a 53% game win percentage because he played 13 games...

As I mentioned previously, I gave all of kupus competitors round wins... but for those who had already played, I assumed leaving in the game win percentage would be the fairest way to go, since you did play the games and deserved the points.... For instance, if we REMOVE kupus games played from passenger (pass won 8-5)... Passengers game win percentage drops to 160%...

I left the games played with Kupus in the scoring spreadsheet - I thought it was fair... But if we choose to cancel out the games of kupus, and make everyone equal with a 3 point round win AND remove all games played against him, then everyone would receive an equal amount of points and not be penalised or advantagised (wrong word sorry) for playing or not playing.... whatever you decide is fine with me.

Holy bejayzus... you asked a simple question and I got all complicated...:o sorry... it's cos grid won in fewer games... I divide games won by total number of games played to get the game win percentage... But since I miscounted your games, you have a win percentage of 164% not 162%

also I appreciate your query Pass... it gives me a chance to review all the scores I input (for everyone)... especially since the original spreadsheet got a virus after round 7 and I re-did it all late one night (and obviously made an error)...
