hi looking for a new scope to put on my .223 for vermin out to 500 yards,i have got a swarvoski 6-24x50 on my rifle but when i go out past 300 yards there is to much guess work as were to hold over,iam looking a scope were i can dial in the distance i was looking at the swarvoski z6 5-30x50 with bt but the adjustment is…

hi looking for a new scope to put on my .223 for vermin out to 500 yards,i have got a swarvoski 6-24x50 on my rifle but when i go out past 300 yards there is to much guess work as were to hold over,iam looking a scope were i can dial in the distance i was looking at the swarvoski z6 5-30x50 with bt but the adjustment is only to the nearest 25 yards,i was thinking of getting a nightforce 5.5-22x56 or 8-32x56 i would like to here from anyone who uses these for vermin control.

Stay with the Swarovski.

Better glass for hunting and dusk/dawn shooting than Nightforce. I used my Nightforce for hunting and during the day they were second to none, but they suffered at dusk/dawn shooting and even under the lamp would not be as clear as a Swarovski.

Also if you've the 6-24 Swarovski, then it'll be the same as a Nightforce in terms of dialing in or holdover would it not?
