Long distance ranges near Kildare

hey, I'm a member in Harbour house and think it's a great club. I shoot .22, .223 & shotgun. I would love to target shoot the .223 over longer distances as H/House is limited to 50m. The midlands range is to far away for a regular commute. Any advice? I live in Kildare.

The Midlands is the only range that exceeds 300 meters/yards (it goes out to 1,200). Only one other range, An Ríocht, goes to 300, then a couple have 100 and everything else is 50 or shorter.

So you're choices are MNSCI (Midlands) or An Ríocht.

Hi Cass, you mentioned that there were a couple with 100m. Would you have any info? Thanks.

I don't know which ones are 100 or more importantly which ones are centre fire rated.

Some ranges have 100 yards/mtrs, but are only rated to rimfire. Here is the most current range location details we have. See which is closest to you and ring them to see what they have and what they allow to be shot on the range.

If you are living in kildare you're only about an hour away from MNSCI , if you just want to give it a try , go down and have a look , its a great set up , worth a visit. as Cass said the only other range out to 300 is an Riocht in kerry , now thats a camel ride from kildare alright...
