Hopefully a nice sub finish from Cedenblad here!

Really enjoying Dan Hardy and John Gooden. Really coming into their own. Friedlander is a great hype man also.

Still pleased to see Pendred keep the flame lit. Hes such a good ambassador for the sport in Ireland.

Neil Seery is a much better ambassador for the sport in Ireland.

I actually wouldn't put Cathal in that ambassador category at all.

Must say its beautiful watching UFC at a reasonable hour and not having to rely on the good lads at Nespresso.. really looking forward to the Holloway fight

    Exciting looking main card.

Excited to see what Backstrom looks like, he's had a lot of hype. Holloway to finish Akira easily standing up. God knows how Corassani gets all these big fights.

Have that backstrom. The eejit just walked in with absolutely no respect for Wilkinsons game in the slightest. he asked for that the fool

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,698 ✭✭✭Gumbi

What was he complaining about? He was knocked the **** out cleanly.

Some knockout but Wilkinson has come across as a tosspot

  • Registered Users Posts: 650 ✭✭✭csallmighty

Lovely punch didn't have to travel far he walked straight into it.

What is Backstrom upset about lol

Backstrom talked a lot of crap before the fight to be fair and didn't give Wilkinson the respect he deserved so I don't feel too sorry for him.

Backstrom is a mouth so I was happy to see him beaten. He even tried to get a word in after when Wilkinson was being interviewed. Mike doesn't seem likeable either but he must feel on top of the world silencing that crowd and his mouthy opponent.

No hes not. Hes a great guy but not very articulate and pretty much unheard in the media compared to Pendred. he s probably a great ambassador in his club and amongst those who know him.

Ah I dunno about that. Backstrom was talking down to him all week and I don't even think Wilkinson could believe what had just happened.

    Heat of the moment stuff.

Ouch. Bad night so far for the local talent. And now they're relying on Akira to avoid total humiliation.

Now there is a win half the country will be proud of.
