    What's your opinion on these?
I switched over from my usual FOB a was told Eley alpha max are better.
Well I can honestly say I'm not impressed. I got 6 shot 36gram and 5shot 36 gram and had some pigeons and crows but felt I should've hit more. Some easy ones aswell I missed. I then shot 3 birds from 4 shots with the FOB Altogether I finished with 4 pigeons and 6 crows and magpie but I should've hit more. Landowner seemed happy though I wasn't.

I've used these for as long as i'm shooting. Back years ago the were the mutt's buts. However much like Lylevale Express i'm a little unimpressed with the "newer" version of them.

That being said i always have 4 to 5 boxes in the safe, and in fairness if i miss it's usually down to me. The only reason i was a little unimpressed was i took two shots on some birds when it usually only took one. To make sure it wasn't me i changed cartridge to try some others. I've switched around a lot of the last year or so and settled on the RC's. I usually prefer the RC3's, 36gr, 5's. A devasting cartridge and very much like the Eley and Express of old. They are excellent. Everything i hit went down with the first shot and stayed down. No need for a follow up shot.

I also have a few boxes of Eley Maximum and Grand Prix in 34gr 5. Again a staple cartridge that i always use and still like.
