    Anyone come across these since the last post or had any experience? I met someone who was singing it's praise last week and he was genuinely not trying to sell me one.

    I'd be tempted to get one for a 1.6 tdi.... but if something sounds too good to be true it usually is.

    I'd suggest reading the thread start to finish. There are plenty of good solid reasons why they are a complete waste.

    I offered twice to take one, pay for it, and submit it for review on one of the YouTube channels. Never got a reply. That alone is enough for me.

    Read it start to finish. Really put me off. Even the language they use on their website doesn't sound right. Was just curious had anyone installed one in the last year and seen any impact - negative or positive.

    Im still amazed people are falling from it.

    Curoius about their "claims", I just looked at their website:

    Thats not an 80% overall emmissions fall, its an 80% reduction in particulates. Something as simple as bad diesel or a service could have fixed that!

    they refer to this:
    CO: The Carbon Monoxide levels remained reasonably constant from 1000 to 2000 RPM, but did yield a 100% reduction in CO emmissions. At 2500 RPM, there was a significant 16.7% reduction in CO
    Eh, no. A before and after result of figures of with a tolerance of ± 0.01% means NO CHANGE.
    HC: There was no reduction in Hydrocarbons (Particulate Matter) below 1500 RPM. After this at 2000 RPM the car reduced its Hydrocarbons, which are the sooty pollutants by 33%. Above 2500 RPM, there was a 20% reduction also
    No again. A result of a HC reduction of 5 to 4 with a tolerance of ±1, means NO change. (NCT limit is 200ppm)
    CO2: An 8.2% reduction in CO2 emissions occured at idle speed and approximately 6% reduction up to 2000 RPM.
    MP: A very nominal decrease occured.

    Very very poor evidence and are simply playing with words. If they cant do better than this, the bottom line is.... SNAKE OIL
