She's looking sweet, and doing the business.

Any chance of a run down of ammo, conditions, pros & cons?

I've only used Hornady steel match and its grouping 1" to 1 1/4" at the 100 yards have several other rounds got now so hope to see how they do over the weekend..

Its just a dream to shoot with the trigger worked down to a light squeeze combine that with the dot in the scope and the easy to hold stock

I looked at one several years ago in .308 for stalking but thought it too heavy. But walking around the fields last night on a strap on the shoulder tbh I didn't notice it any heaver than my other rifles ..

The only con I see is its not easy to throw to the shoulder for a quick snap shot

What trigger are u using, any idea what it is set at. Put a timney in my .223 but never adjusted it.

Not sure tbh I assume its the factory trigger. I have it zeroed at the moment so next time I'm cleaning it I'll take of the stock to have a look. I have a yodave on my HMR set very low and a rifle baxis on the .270 again set low and tbh not much difference in all 3 when hunting but would probably find a difference if I had all 3 on a bench together

    Nice rig.

I could never get 55gr rounds to group any better than you report here - I have a 223 T3 Varmint 1:8.

Some guys report good results with 40gr ammo - I have never tried it - but I find good results with 60-69gr ammo.

Right now I use Tulammo steel case 62gr "FMJ" for rabbits, but I would not be confident at 196yds with them; reckon 150yds probably their max for absolutely certain hits. Normally keep it to around 100 or less, myself; habit from rimfire days.

Also used Matchking 69gr to good effect on rabbits to just over 200yd, no meat damage, but a little expensive.
