Nose and ear hair. Its a constant battle to keep it trimmed as I get older, especially the ear hair which is hard to see. I am not the worst but it is not something I am used to since it only started growing in the last few years.

Logging onto Facebook to find out three dummies nominated me for that ice bucket challenge thing. God. That's not my thing at all. My hair will get ruined, and I have nothing suitable to wear. I don't want anything that'll cling to me when I'm wet.

    The hardship
May I suggest taking a leaf out of Pamela Anderson's book and asking the drug companies to stop drilling holes in animals skulls to do research for humans. That research is very rarely applicable to humans for the disease, apparently. She used her nomination for the Ice Bucket challenge to issue a challenge to the drug companies to stop using live animals for testing. Rant over now. :)

That first blast of cold water from the shower before it heats up!

Spider update (hopefully the last one).

Big Chief Smith from yesterday sacrificed himself to bring Henry back from the dead! They realised the only way to take me down was when I was naked and vulnerable. Henry, back from the dead, was in the corner above the shower, ready to pounce this morning. Photographic evidence:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/wq5ktczrjw88zfz/P8230522.JPG?dl=0

He was swiftly escorted out of the building, as washing him down the drain is proving futile.

    Henry - 1
    Fat Christy - 0

You live this time fcuker but next time, you mightn't be so lucky. I'll have to get spider repellent for that corner, christ!

I hate people playing the race card and manipulating people. Why are so many people so intent on turning things into a racial battle? We're supposed to be colour blind, but at the same time we're supposed to celebrate diversity and mulitculturalism. I'm confused. I form opinions on people based on their actions not on skin colour, race, gender, sexual orientation etc.

I'm sick to death of being labelled a racist or bigot simply for expressing a negative opinion of someone. If I said that I felt ripped off by someone, who happened to be black, I'd be labelled as a racist, it wouldn't even cross some people's minds that the person could have ripped me off, they're that fast to play the racist card.

I had ONE beer last night, and I felt drunk, along with all the symptoms of being drunk. I had a sip of a second beer and I had to stop because it brought on a headache.

    Jeeeeeeeeze!

Of course I knew this was going to eventually be part of getting older, but I didn't think it would be this extreme so soon - plus, it seems to have rapidly happened between during the year that I was 27!

The speed at which I feel drunk these days has had me so dumbfounded, so I Google'd it to see WTF is going on. This page was really enlightening.... http://jezebel.com/how-to-get-drunk-after-age-28-638145711 After reading that and a few other pages, I conclude that it's down to a combination of getting older ("the enzymes we use to process alcohol decrease as we age"), eating a low carb diet, and not drinking alcohol much at all anymore. But it's a royal pain in the ass when I do!

Outrageously awful periods. First day of mine makes me really sick, vomiting diahorria, shivers, cramps, backache. Went to a broadway show last night and felt terrible. Was awake all night being sick. My lovely sympathetic boyfriend complained about how he couldn't sleep because I was in and out of bed like a yoyo all night. God help him.

I'm annoyed at myself because its nothing that every other woman doesn't go through without making it into a thing but bleh. On my holiday and all.

I have now learnt the only thing worse than ordering something on a friday night is ordering something on a friday night before a bank holiday.

I go away for a week and there's 100 pages of annoyances :) ha ha ha

Sorry, but I'd need another week off to read through them all!

    My annoyance........
A 3 hour flight with a stinky dirty nappy child sitting in front of me!

People with large fleshy smooth skinned faces. Pursed lips, shifty eyes.
The type of person whose internet history makes you shudder at the mere concept of it.

How does somebody like you regard the conceptualization of their internet history as anything more than an educated guess?:o

That actress who plays Clara in Dr Who really bugs the crap out of me. Talk about vanity and narcissism. All that being said, Dr Who has taken on a decidedly different tack this year. Last night there was a nubile young human lesbian, wearing little more than a corset, having her portrait painted by her lesbian lizard girlfriend. So all in all there was bestiality, erotica and lesbianism. :D

Ever since the water meter was installed a couple of weeks ago I'm gone paranoid every time I turn on a tap.

Maybe it's a good thing but it's very annoying

I'm gonna have to get into this Dr. Who craic! I never really rated it before (I liked Billie Piper in "Diary of a Call Girl", but not even her introduction would have me watch what I thought was a bit of a Dr. Who cheezefest! :o).

I'm not a big fan of it myself but my husband is a Dr Who nut. I usually only half watch it when it's on but last night's episode was a lot riskier than any other series I remember of it. I think it's 'something for the dad's'. Interspecies lesbianism is a new one.:D
