Ormus you were doing sooo well.

I don't know Lance Armstrong, John Terry or Luis Saurez personaly...don't think there be much opposition in condeming their personalities to the wanker category.

I wasn't trying to "do well", but thanks.

Slightly different. There is concrete evidence for those guys being total ****. People are saying they dislike Rory for ridiculous reasons like "he speaks with an american twang" or "golf is a stupid game" or "he didn't give a kid an autograph".

Can you spot the difference between that and sleeping with your teammate's wife, or repeatedly biting opponents?

Mickelson's begrudgers have tried to paint him in such a light, as in "You don't know what he's really like". Any successful person in any field will have begrudgers.

Yeah, I'd heard that about Mickelson on another forum years ago, that he is really not liked, but the crowd reaction to him in Europe and America would indicate otherwise.

Same as someone slating Seve earlier in this thread, the reaction to his illness and then his death would definitely not indicate someone who was arrogant and not liked. The outpouring of emotion from other golfers and spectators was incredible.

You're definitely not good at golf.

    You're way too sound.

Im sure he's a nice guy.
Just like a certain country and western singer.

And just as with that singer and a certain mixed race couple his name should not feature in my life more than twice in a single year.

Also; those people who live vicariously through such celebrities or think their actions warrant national attention should be pushed off a cliff.

He should give Graeme McDowell a few lessons. Wtf is with that insufferable twang?

GMAC? :D He spent time in college in the States and picked it up, a lot of pros on the European Tour find his accent amusing if Twitter is anything to go by.

The worst of all is when he refers to Pebble Beach as just Pebble.

Not sure why as I'm sure he's a nice lad who loves his mum and is kind to animals. And I have no evidence on which to base my feelings. But I just can't warm to him. Can't put my finger on it, to be honest. And no; I'm sure he doesn't give a flying you know what whether I like him or not.
