What the fVck was the point in having this put on Live tv if every other word had to be bleeped out?

Sky plus cut off and missed the end of the show but I kind of thought it would over run so I recorded the next programme,Fawlty Towers which was really the rest of the show!

The Blu-Ray and DVD are being released in November.

Definitely picking this up and I really do hope they put a tonne of extras on there. Rehearsals, documentaries, out-takes, interviews, the whole lot! :D

Was at the Saturday show in London for this, made the trip especially and have to say I found it a bit disappointing overall. Second half was a good bit better then first but they're all just too old to do the material justice at this stage and Graham Chapman was missed. They could have mixed it up a bit more rather then have word for word sketches from the show/movies that were better performed back then.

It was as good as it could have been probably given their age and I'm glad I went but I think some things are better left in the past to be honest (and this is coming from a big Python fan).

Was over at it last week, and I couldn't have put my thoughts on it any better. A nostalgia fest as opposed to anything else.

I was there last night, I was disappointed by the first half but I think they pulled it back in the second. Again, a big fan, I have the scripts. Trip cost me a fortune but I'm glad I did it. I'll be p#ssed if they do it again though. :-)

A bonus was spotting the parrot on the way out, they'd brought it back from Tower Bridge and hidden it behind hoardings, but I got a snap. :-)

There's a recording of this online now, from Danish TV so its not bleeped like the UK Gold version.

Available in the usual places ;)

It's also on Sky On Demand and it will be on Gold on Friday night after the watershed so no bleeping.

Just finished watching today. Enjoyed it.

Though I didn't exactly watch the entire series but from what I saw of it and the movies, I didn't realise they had so many musical numbers.

In fairness, I ended up finding the shambolic and inconsistent nature of the bleeping quite funny. It was all worth it for the mistimed f-word bleep.

I'd also add that, as the original four series of Monty Python's Flying Circus contained hardly any bad language, the show probably could have done without it.

That's true Ray, hadn't really thought about that aspect of the show!
