11th Night Bonfires. Maybe they just dont like Celtic.

    So bonfires are being built around various areas of Northern Ireland, and are being prepared to be lit. However one has appeared with an effigy of what looks like Gerry Adams in Celtic Shirt, on a hangmans mast painted in the colours of the Irish Tricolor. Gerry Adams has been quoted as saying...
    "deeply offensive and a clear hate crime by those responsible”.

    Not sure of the significance of the Bonfires, but did do a little bit of reading in relation to July 12th prior to making this thread. Maybe some them building the bonfires and attending the 12th Celebrations don't know the significance either, and are just jumping on a bandwagon and using it as an excuse to display a political agenda or view that has nothing to do with the 11/12th origins.
