    • SAK - €50
    • Parker Hale - €50
    • A-Tec - €85
    • Wildcat Whisper - €150
    • LEI - €150

These are all rimfire "specific". IOW designed for rimfires in general. However i have a mate using a T4 AR in .223 and getting massive sound reduction. The mod is not as heavy as you'd think what with it being reflex, but also because it's the baby T4 so no real weight anyway. Prices start at €260.

SAK seems to be very popular and great value . .

I've seen some reviews on the different mods and the highest measured decibel difference between them was 6db. Now considering the price difference can be over €100 between the most expensive and cheapest it seems a lot for only 6db.

While the actual difference in suppression might be small the "heard" difference seems to be a bigger factor. With lads claiming one to be better than the other even though the test show the opposite or them to be the same.

The last factor is looks. Some are big and bulky while others are slimline and more in fitting with the contours of the rifle. So it's really a matter of which suits your budget, and taste.

I've tried the parker-hale,the wildcat and the SAK. I wasn't too impressed with the ph, the wildcat and the SAK did more or less the same thing, so I stuck with the SAK. Saved €100 quid to spend on ammunition and I'm still using the same mod three years later.
    Nuff said.

I use a SAK myself on my CZ, but i have t say the T4AR does seem quieter. However not €200+ quieter. :D

    Hi Cass cheerz for that
Is it hard to import one in from England was looking at onelesscharlie very nice
    Good reviews ???

All the mods mentioned can be easily gotten from any dealer. Any one that is not in stock can be gotten within a week. There is no need to import.

If you want one from onelesscharlie he is a member here so drop him a PM and have a chat. It's classed as a firearm here so import is most likely needed as is the "S" on the license, etc.

TBH for the .17 i'd just go with SAK, spend the €50 and never look back.
