I like the Borris game fair, it's not as big as Birr but I've alaways found good bargains there. Their having it a few weeks early this year, im sure its normally on the August bank holiday.

Borris is on this Sat & Sunday, smaller than Birr, but beats it everyway.
It is a family day out with a much better athmosphere.

Ive watched the springer trials there with the last few years so I presume they will have it there this year too. It's very well laid out, you dont have to walk miles to see stuff.

Lads I am from Borris and I can confirm that there is no game fair this year in Borris ! See you all in Birr !

Says there is here, and here. Have sent an e-mail to ask and confirm one way or the other.

As for Birr. Might not see as many as you think. :D

Being from borris and being part of the actual fair itself are two different things.
Is there not a Facebook page or something so it can be actually confirmed?

    Well balls anyway.

No response from them, but if that is the case it's a shame.

There was talk on here last year about organising a new fair. Has that idea gone anywhere? Definitely an opening for it now because if borris is not on this year its very unlikely it will be back again.

Why the hell is it being advertised as on this weekend if its not? I was bloody looking forward to that. Ah well, more money for CLA game fair. And as for Birr, it would be more fun to go skimming stones at a pond, Birr is one place I won't be this year.
