Its quite reminiscent of the lift in Hitchhikers Guide, the one in the Guides publishers, in the books.

As a lift intelligence it was built with an awareness of the future, so it would always be at the right floor to pick you up.

Unfortunately, when the building was under siege, it argued with Zaphod about going Up, dwelling on the possibilities of Down instead.

Finally bought a physical copy of the Final Fantasy Pixel remasters, it was worth waiting and avoiding ordering it from PlayAsia with the premium that entails, got it from Amazon for normal game prices.

I did the first 4 recently on PSP and have 5 and 6 ready to go on GBA.. is there anything different about these that would warrant getting the switch versions to play through them ?

Pre purchased the great Raiden Nova, the latest title in the best Shmup series of all.

Can't wait, although it is digital, I will pick up a physical copy for the Switch at some point.

It will join Raiden III, IV and V which I already have.

I just wish they'd release the three Raiden Fighters titles too!

Going through a shmup phase myself. About 30 years late. But this was an ebay purchase that arrived recently.

I did not know about Raiden Nova, but it looks like trader games has it already for switch. Japanese only. Not like that will make any difference for a Raiden game.

That is one of my most prized possessions too, although I bought mine on its release.

Also, I bought Raiden Dx and Raiden III, the former Japanese and the latter US, the benefits of a region free PS2.

Such a great series.

I was never as fond of the Moss titles though.

I bought The Raiden Project in a Smyths bargain bin for something stupid like 7 Irish pounds back in the day.

My mate at the time who worked there was laughing at me thinking I was wasting my money, I had the final laugh there it seems!

My Raiden II PCB is going strong a decade or so later but my Raiden 1 PCB no longer works.

I bought a Raiden Fighters PCB recently that appears to work on the surface but the sound is borked!

Bloody PCBs are a bit of a nightmare. The sooner more of it gets on to MiSTer the better. (I reckon we'd have Raiden I, II, DX on it if it want for the MARs debacle)

I missed Raiden on PS1 when it came out because I had at that time bought an Atari jaguar in a bargain bin at electronics boutique for 29.99 and Raiden was one of the only tolerable games on the system. Certainly one of the very few I actually played.

Got Ori the Collection physical.

Was the fact that Will of the Wisps was never coming to Switch that led to me getting an XBox One X on sale. And then Moon Studio did the impossible port. Don't have an Xbox anymore, so it's all come full circle.

Raiden Nova is terrible, very much a Vampire Survivors mold of a game, which is awful.

I got Picross e1 to e9 as downloads. I've already played e1-e8 on the 3DS, but they finally released e9 in English on the Switch, so I bought it, then bought the other Picross e games, as I think I'm a bit obsessed with picross games right now. They're a good pick up and play kind of game.

Suikoden remastered from Game via Sports Direct in-store pickup £23 + £5 click and collect. Greatest Bargain I have bagged in years. Just under €40 all in.

Some crazy warehouse clearance on the online store damn Switch tax the Playstation 5 version was only £14.

Gods above help me, but I've bought a Densha de Go controller for my Switch.

There are quite a few train driving titles on the console, and most of not all are compatible, so I'm looking forward to it arriving from Japan in the coming weeks
