Sweet! The NTSC-J version is in English?

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

It has English and Japanese language options. English is the default! :)
Been looking for this one for some time! It's one of my all time favourites! Delighted to finally have it!

Sweet, didn't know that. I Might pick up a Japanese copy myself at some stage then, as it's a game I don't possess!

Better than the french/german I think it is subtitles on my EU copy.

Yeah, options for French or German, no "Turn those f@*#ing subtitles OFF!" option on the EU version.
Really love the art on the Japanese version too.

I've not made a batch in a good while. It's fairly handy to put together though.

I've actually Retrobrited a NES recently without the need for making it. Mostly good results, will put up pics later or tomorrow.

Well technically its the same ingredient as Retrobrite, just didn't have to mix anything together.

    I went from this:

Didn't brownfinger mention he may be able to make something?
Going to order a couple of DMDs, can't make up my mind on the dual colour vs the single, I haven't seen any using the dual color yet, decisions, decisions

Yea I could prob cut the acrylic.
I think you need to get hex post or some sort of spacers to make the frames.
Doesn't Oision have a franko one?
    Maybe he'll take some pics

I could 3D print any plastic bits and pieces if required. We definetly need to get a case for these bad boys :)

Any way to get polycarbonate instead of acrylic??

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,146 ✭✭✭CathalDublin

I've a bag of about 50 20mm hex PCB bolts that would be ideal
The tinted one franco has on youtube looks good

Could you cut me a piece of poly with drill holes etc in it? It's for a door for the printer, I have the cad files for everything.

Also, I don't expect it to be free ;0)

Was hoping to get one for UV resin, could probably use a small thing like the one as for nails but do the bulbs last long? Can you get them local or do you need to order online?

Had a look through my Amazon history. I bought the below in 2011 and have never had to replace the bulbs or noticed any degradation on them.

I've attached a zip with a pdf and dxf of the door part. Not sure if the thickness is in there.

Here's a link to the "thing" on thingiverse. It has pics that show roughly how thick it is.
