Most of the time this area is nice and quiet. We have the beach and the sea, but thats no big deal. Now the suns out, the buses are packed, and the whole place is swarmed with people

Irish people always complain about the weather. Too hot/cold/sunny/dull/rainy.

Enjoy it while you can, OP. It won't be here for long. ;)

I love winter & storms. Hate the sun. Am sick of people coming into work saying it's lovely out. Nothing lovely about being overheated. Children don't sleep so we don't sleep..only advantage I can see is all my washing is done & dry :-)

    I'm sweating like a much-loved 1970s British children's entertainer.

    Phone call home recently.

    'How's the weather?'
'Miserable. Its been cold and raining all week. What's it like there?'
'Nice - we had 28 degrees today.'
    'Ah that's a bit hot. I wouldn't like that...'

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

18c-ish and grey out today, pretty crapulent tbh. Friday was 26 - absolutely lovely.

Its lovely, i remember saying in the winter is cold thread we had, that i would reserve the right to punch the first person who complained about a drop of sunshine.

PM your address to me OP and lets get this over with.

    - LETS ALL GET TOGETHER NACKED AND GO IN THE SEA AND GO SURFING AND STUFF.

ALso, the other other very fun THING is CHRISTMAS, the feeling. ALSO, OMG I JUST CAME UP WITH THE BEST IDEA, what if you pay someone to buy you random presents with that money, THEN YOU take DMT before you go to bed, then wake up on christmas night AND GET THE PRESENTS

Anything north of 30ºc is just energy-sapping. I don't enjoy lying by the pool etc

Not a fan of the heat in general. I don't mind a clear sunny day in the low twenties, but I find anything from 15 upwards when it's cloudy is particularly unpleasant. I assume it's the extra humidity, but anything that can be described as close/muggy weather has me sweating like a cornered nun. I like the cold and living on the right-hand side of the island I don't see that much rain so I can deal with that.

also, as the Psycharists and Guru's say, take LSD/Mushrooms in a cold place.

GUYS, WHAT IF WE ALL GO UP TO THE NORTH POLE, AND CLAIM IT OUR LAND, then we get all the suplies, then its only us irish folks a couple of us... and WE BRING loads of food, shelter,DMT,MUSHROOMS,ETC

My favourite part of this time of year is talking with antipodeans on social media and having them scoff at our idea of uncomfortably hot weather. Congratulations, you live in a sub-tropical furnace, it's not my fault your ancestors were a bit light-fingered.

Don't mind the sun/heat all that much but hay fever is an absolute bastard.

They were probably your ancestors, in fairness.

At least it's nothing like last summer. A few sunny days here and there is fine, but an extended heatwave is horribly unpleasant. That's my idea of 'bad weather'. It'll get a bit cooler and cloudier later in the week, so this isn't too bad.

I'm already looking forward to autumn.

Have you tried eating some locally produced honey? It really does help for some reason. I don't question why, I'm just happy that it makes it less of a nightmare.

It's not even 20° and people are moaning about the "heat". Imagine if it was actually hot.

It's been low/mid 20's last week and this week here, not a huge fan of heat but I'm not complaining about all the girls cycling around in short skirts/dresses :)

It's not warm enough as far as I'm concerned. Roll on a heatwave I say.

So awks when you meet someone out scantily clad. I'm always like in my head 'don't look at her boobs, don't look at her boobs, quit looking at her legs, phwoar the chest on your man'.

Very distracting and no matter how hard you try, you still end up looking at them. >.< :o:p
