I don't socialise much in this country anymore, it's too bloody expensive, but do people still wear soccer jerseys socially?

Would you see people wearing a shirt down the pub even if the team weren't playing that day?

Dwight Yorke believes United will sign 7 more players. Yes, you read that correctly.

    Yes. And why not?

Did he happen to say who those sevena re or did he just pluck a number out fo thin air to sound cool?

de Vrij (CB), Shaw (LB), Herrera (CM), Vidal (CM), Depay (Wing) , Sanchez (Wing), Hummels (CB) (Strootman (CM) in January)?

    Edit:

RE: New United jersey, I think it'll look very well on the team, I don't think the photo's do it any justice. It's not great, but it's not nearly as bad as people are making out imo.

    It's like it never happened.

Will always have good time for Moyes, and there is not doubting he tried his best, but alas it was not meant to be.

One of the best things about Moyes' time at the club (apart from laying alot of groundwork for some of the transfers we have seen) is that Van Gall is not the man that has to follow SAF.

Not to the pub but I wear football shirts all the time when around the house or out and about, although never United, they're always manky.
I've got a Parma top with me today to change into when I finish up in work, Porto yesterday and Lille the day before that. I don't know why some people get worked up about others wearing football shirts, they're comfortable and there's plenty of nice looking shirts out there.

For thr first time in ages, my official United shirt rater (Mrs. FutureGuy) has actually liked the new kit!

Honestly think thats the laziest looking design i've ever seen. That logo is awful too.

It looks like someone just bought a cheap t-shirt and ironed on some logos. Poor effort.

I haven't checked last few pages and I'm not even sure if I remember it correctly..

Happy Moyes day.. IIRC this day last year he took charge of ManUtd officially.

I don't mind the new jersey, better than the gingham crap, but it is so blandly inoffensive. Meh.

Lazy design like that is why I hope we change kit supplier on the new deal. At least Addidas or Puma or whomever might put a bit more effort in to it.

Very surprised the new deal hasn't been dnoe yet. remember reading a while back that due to the length of time the design process takes and getting enough kits made for sale, the deal needed to be done before the end of the season gone.

sample kits would have been designed for the bidding process so id imagine they'll use one of them and production doesnt usually occur until febuary before release

The new shirt is fairly rank, the button kind of makes it look like a toddler's pyjamas.

Fingers crossed Adidas bid more than Nike are prepared to match for the next deal.

That pic of the new home kit above.
Hard to tell from it, but the material looks very like that of the one from a couple years back with the black chevron on the front.
I like that one, still have it, and it's very comfortable to wear.

Have to agree though that Nike are pants generally.

I spotted someone wearing that jersey yesterday, didn't look too bad. Logo is smaller then the pics. However I don't care how the jersey looks tbh

I seen someone wearing a jersey a few years ago, it was about 4 weeks before the shirt was due to be released. I remember thinking, lucky so n so having the shirt early.....

Then when the jersey was released it looked nothing like what the lad had. Stinger!

Id wait til I see the shirt on an official website first.

Yeah the new shirt looks pretty meh to be honest.

Still end up getting no doubt...

Reports in Spain that Madrid want to sign james Rodriguez as long as they can sell Di Maria, would absolutely love Di Maria or Sanchez at Utd, surely if one or both are available then LVG would be all over it, the types of players that can make a real difference when going for the league (plus Young would surely be shown the door ;-)

The conspiracy theorist in me actually called this within the first week of last season starting. Only about 2 or 3 top managers would have had the ego to take on that challenge and Moyes looked like a deer caught in headlights from day one. Much much easier following in his footsteps than the very best that ever was.

It is in the Express. The quote from Yorke: "They are probably looking to bring in another seven players into the squad, so with Van Gaal on international duty, his team are doing extremely well.

Apparently Spanish papers are saying United are "going strong" for Sanchez, whatever that means, they then go to say he wants to stay at Barcelona or join Arsenal, but if those don't happen United is the next choice.

I could actually see this happen if Van Gaal deems him surplus to requirements. QPR have no problem spending big on wages and no doubt Rio can big him up.

Really, Really, really hope he is on his way!
