    I only use it for the Nordic characters.

    It's usually faster than changing the Windows language settings for my keyboard.

    I used to know one or two like the degree symbol but forget them now :o

    I bought a laptop in an Irish store and £ and $ are easy to find, while the € is hiding under the $:confused:

    Can you not just use shift whilst holding altGR and press a vowel to get a capital letter with a fada on your keyboard? My laptop can do it...

    Yup you can but I always get mixed up when trying to to capitals but it's just that with shift?

    I had an ancient keyboard in work for ages after the € keyboard came in, with no € sign, so I had to type euro in words everytime. I felt so dirty.:(
