I plan on studying what I can with geoecology tonight, studying all activities for Irish regions, only primary+tertiary for Paris, primary for mezzo and primary+secondary for India. Then, gonna take a quick read over physical geography. Loooooong night ahead!

I feel as though we're in the same boat. A boat that could very easily sink.

    What's everyone's geoecology plans?

I usually do soil geoec questions but with it apparently the year of 2 biome qs I might learn a human interaction essay and a characteristic essay too :/

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,723 ✭✭✭MightyMandarin

Is there any possibility that Biomes won't come up?

That would be horrifying. My usual plan is do geoecology first as I have an answer learned off for it. But all I know is characteristics of brown earth soils and characteristics of rainforest biome

For geocology if I have leaned characteristics of brown earths, factors that impact soil and the effect of desertification, overcropping and overgrazing on soil should I be covered?? Oh and what's everyone learning for human elective ?!

You were right about the thick part ;)

A biome is an area on the earth's surface where climate, soils, vegetation and animals are inter-related

My teacher was thinking a comparison of two soil types- arid and brown earth

    Or

Human interaction with the soil- praying this will be on

Is this from physical geography? If so you only have to do one of rivers, mass movement and coastal processes.
