Granting of Leases & Renewal of Permits

Any body hear anything back from Coillte about the 2014/15 Deer Leases?

I see that National Parks and WildlifeService are sending out renewal letters for permits, was there anyone here who didn't receive a renewal in the post last year?

I'm just curious, as last year I just downloaded the forms and sent away everything without any renewal letter. I got my permit no problems, I'm just curious as to the norm or what not?

I got mine, every year, via post. However the last 2 years i've used the online service and got my renewal a week ago (or so) via e-mail. I print it out, get it signed, fill in the returns, and e-mail it back.

My Father got his via the post but i e-mail his back under my e-mail address as he has not got his own.

Thanks Cass, seems to be a mix of snail mail and email alright, I'll stick to what I did last year as it worked out fine.

Have you e-mailed them to ask why you get no renewals? Have you EVER gotten a renewal?

The fact you have a deer license means you are recorded on their system, but it's annoying that you don't get a renewal. As you are doing it, it seems more like a new application every year than a renewal.

Some of the lads I shoot with said they got renewals via post even though they had furnished email addresses.

I found it a bit confusing as to thier online application, 1. it wasn't interactive 2. the requirement for the original land permisson. So I printed a copy off, filled it in and sent it off with my permisson. What way are you doing the email, are you scanning the documents?

Last year when they started to send out the licenses I gave the office a ring to make sure I hadn't screwed up, they said they'd check and contact me back, the only contact I got after that was the license.
I must give them a ring tomorrow to see if I'm on the system, I have done everything as per the book on my last applications with no questions or issue.

For other members out there, is there any one else without a renewal notice?

    Yup.

I print out the documents they e-mail to me, fill them in, scan them, attach scans of the permissions, then e-mail it to them. I get a "Receipt e-mail" within 10 minutes, and in due course get the license.

I got my renewal about two weeks ago and emailed it back to them, got a call about a day or two later just querying something about my form and when i cleared it up they said it was grand and they'd process the application straight away, fair play to the npws they are very quick with their permits, same last year when i applied for my 1st deer hunting permit i had it in a few days which shocked me as i'm used to waiting months when it comes to waiting for gun licenses or substitutions
