As already mentioned try Sheridans, but if they don't have them Mortons in Salthill or McCambridges are also worth trying.

It can be worth looking these things up and checking for videos on youtube. I had the same problem a few months ago, I googled how to fix a broken lamp and found a link that provided my answer. I just needed to tighten up the socket part, didn't even require a screw driver!

Where would I get an electric iron repaired?

Has anybody a recommendation for the above.
I have a few windows that either need adjusting or their seals replaced.
I am particularly interested from people who have personal experience of having this done? How much did it cost? Did it work?
    Thanks

It'll either be the bulb holder on the lamp, the inline switch, or a loose wire in each - all easily replaceable items if you work out which one.

Anyone know where to get waterproof earphones or MP3 player? I'm more so just looking for the earphones because I already have a case for my phone but if there was a cheapish MP3 player somewhere I'd opt for that. Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for specific coins/notes? I'm sure I have some in the house. Pesetas, Turkish Lira and Francs.

Looking for an XLR cable so I can connect a microphone to my camera. Need it ASAP for an interview.

Any recommendations? It's an XLR 3.5mm cable.

Maplin would be your best bet for that I reckon. They're pricey, but if you need it ASAP....

There's a sound and lighting shop in Liosban somewhere, exact name escapes me, might have one.

Or you might find a different mic with a 3.5 jack easier

I'm looking for a fire grate protector.

As seen on the Irish Dragons Den a while back.

Is there anywhere in Galway that sells them?
