This looks attractive to me. I know it would work well for pistols at least, and probably small bore for sure.

There are also several you tube vids out there on it. From the second link its clear that they sell them in Canada. If this catches on it should be available in EU or UK if not now. However they have an email and phone and could be asked about international availability. Not sure what the rules are on buying non chemical / non gun part cleaning supplies.

It's a novel concept but if the tips are foam how clean would you actually get them? You know what gun oil is like not to mention other chemicals at staining materials, patches, clothes, etc.

Plus they are seriously short. Do they do a rifle one? Or are they designed for chambers, breaches, etc. only?

I'd usually use a patch or some of these:





Then use a chamber cleaning tool. Little more expensive, but not too much of the prices quoted in that link.

I am pretty sure it would work for pistol cleaning. I am not sure about rifle bore. I may try some of it see.
