82 for the Gameweek. Not feeling great about it as many rivals have City defenders. Will just let the dust settle and see how it does later in the week.

My 4 point hit worked well (net 18 points) but the alternate one I had was Baines and Ramsey out for Yaya and Alonso who ran riot altogether :-D

    I'd gamble but that's me.
You're miles better and seem to like making rational decisions, unlike me :)

If I was to put on my Lemlin hat on I would say:
    He captains Suarez.
    There will be goals.
    Let's say there's 3 on offer.
If Sturridge scores them all, then I don't really need him capt.
If he gets 2, then that's gonna take a big chunk out of the 9 points hopefully and don't need him as captain.
If the balance tips to Suarez then you're gone.

9 points isn't much, you having both may force him to bring both in.
    Down to 5.
I'd back your team selection from there.

You make some good points but just to note he's 13 ahead.

Should finish on 75ish which considering everything I'm delighted with, Regret not going ahead with -8 hit for RVP and Alonso. Normally I take risks but got too caught up in my league and what my opponent was doing. That's one lesson I'll take into next season - play your own game and let everybody else play theirs.

13 points lads. Do you think can it be done in the last GW?

Yes very possible, 11 starting players should net you 22 at least..

107 for the week without changing my team since GW35, that wraps up my league but no consolation for the way I feel tonight

It can be done alright. Humble advice but just need to pick the right captain, sounds obvious but thats where the swings are.

Ended up on 84 no hits. Late captaincy change cost me 6.
I was 44 points behind leader.....I think I've got it back to 13 ........he took a 16 point hit!!!!! He likes a big hit ....but I have Ramsey aguero Rooney and Chester so may need one too,........

easily done Ive gone from 50 pts behind to 14 pts in front in my league in the last 3 gws. Just do what you do every week and pick your best available captain and make your best available transfers. For example alonso got me 12 pts thats almost your gap closed with 1 player. 20-25 pt + gap Id say take risks but not for 13 pts once you know you will have atleast 4 different players.

Heading for the dizzy heights of 83 points. Even if it was at the expense of City winning 4 nill.

Rooney didnt play in either game so won't he be automatically subbed off?

    Yep he will.

Maybe I'm weird but that was one if the most fun game weeks I've seen in my short FPL career!! And that's speaking as somebody who had Aguero captain, Rooney, Apzil, Ramsey and Mata and ended up fielding 9 players after weeks of planning! Plus my two rivals for a cash place in my league had Dzeko.

More far fetched twists and turns than a full season of 24! :)

And at the end of it, after Zab powered me ahead despite Dzeko scoring, then Dzeko put me way back, before Yaya saved my week.....ended up on 76 no hits and 1 point ahead of the guy I'm chasing in vain for weeks and who I was 60 odd behind 6 or 7 weeks back. Wes Brown who I accidentally failed to bench being my joint top scorer with Yaya.

I thoroughly enjoyed the madness of this week, probably helped by just coming somewhat good at the end. I'm learning more to enjoy the ride rather than be down about what could have been if I'd captained Yaya etc.

Plus there was Kevs video. Good times..... ;)

With no Silva now he will be bombing forward far more as an attacking threat I think. Didn't see motd2 yet but guessing that's what he was at v Palace.

Mr Prodston, as an anonymous online acquaintance of some 9 months now, I feel compelled to urge you to just buy him, I don't know if I can bear to watch what could unfold. ;)
I'll finish on 56 (-8) a friend looks to have closed a 35 point lead to 2. I can cope with that but Yaya.

Oh Yaya. Yaya  Yaya Toure waiting until the end to steal the show may have broken my soul beyond repair.

Sigh. At least I can say I tried. It doesn't make it any less tragic, but I'll sleep soundly tonight.

It was appreciated :) But if I bought him now then I should have bought him about 8 months ago. My stubbornness is a flaw I hope to see a decrease in next year :pac: :(

Is FC Twente Benson in the house?
    FSA qualifying league.

    124 points this week!!!!

104 this week, thank Yaya for that, in 3rd in buckley league,1 point behind Busts who's moved to 2nd, 15 pts behind Rory who's 38 pts behind 1st(not a Boardsie :) )

109 for the week and right back up there in the mix :).

Now I have to decide how much I want to gamble next week!

    102 (-4).

Had the same as many it seems, 4 pts from 3 Manchester United players a big disappointment.

Nevertheless, up to global rank 203.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

62(-4). Down to 1540. The chances of a three digit finish are gone. 12 point gap to make up in that last league.

Will have to work on how I finish seasons. Last year I had a very poor finish as well.

2.256m gw ranking, my worst of the season, dropped from top 50k to 88k and heading for my 2nd worst season since I started 6 years ago!! Some change from my top 600 finish last season. Dropped into league 1 in the FSA league as well, talk about the game week from hell!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

GW37 - the GW of Nightmares.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,073 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Up to 68k from 83k so not so bad for me but out of contention in all leagues.

Hit rank 44 in the FSA qualifiers so a good captain choice and I might hit Championship... Just maybe......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,141 ✭✭✭Santi101

I've plunged like a stone in recent weeks.....out to 40kish and Championship status in the FSA League. My private league has taken priority lately and ive had to make some blocker moves ie ramsey which have turned out bad in the grand scheme but i do have a 35pt lead in my league which is healthy.

    68 this week.

66 but it's a bit heart breaking. I was away over the weekend and missed the deadline Saturday morning. Rooney was (c) and Dzeko would have been the obvious VC, but it stayed on Mata from last weekend.

Fair play. That's a cracking score. Good luck next week!

What an awful week to play my wildcard!!

RVP(c) has just saved it. 43 before BPs with 6 to play tomorrow night.

60+ would make it a good week.

    81, happy with that!
